Checking phone notifications, PETER sees lots of images of festive wishes.
PETER (V.O.): Oh yes, today is the Dragon Boat Festival. It's a public holiday in Hong Kong.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've been quite busy professionally and it's good to have a break.
Peter taps his YouTube channels.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love the song I wrote to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival.
Having copied the link, Peter sends it to chatgroups and facebook.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me create an AI drawing about something I wish I could do today.
Peter types his input on AI drawing generators and checks the results.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT. OENO PARK, TOKYO - DAY (2019)
Scenic lake. Peter is paddling a boat.
PETER (V.O.): I enjoy the sights and sounds of the surrounding park.
We see COUPLES or FRIENDS having fun in their boats.
MONTAGE OF PETER'S BOATING MEMORIES
A. Castle Peak Bay, 1973. Peter (19) watches a GIRL steering a boat.
B. Lai Chi Kok Bay, 1974. Peter (20) rows a boat with the girl on board.
C. Fairview Park Lake, 1983. Peter (29) and SHARON (28) are in one paddle boat while two COUSINS are having fun in another.
D. Goryokaku Park, Hokadate, 2012. Peter (58) and his WIFE see OTHERS rowing boats in the moat just beneath long rows Sakura blossoms.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Every time before I fly back to Hong Kong from Tokyo, I'd come here to row a boat alone.

PETER (V.O.): Oh, my elder son will have dinner with us today. Great!

Daydreaming.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We'll have seafood in the evening.
EXT. DOG-FRIENDLY PARK - 18:00
Peter, his WIFE and their younger DAUGHTER are watching the family pet having fun on the grass.
PETER (V.O.): We don't have time to walk her on week days.
Thinking of something, Peter checks a chatgroup on his smartphone screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's disappointing that no one has made any festive wishes.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As a group member, I could take the initiative.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But my hunch is that others aren't engaging in non-business matters.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A greater part of the day is gone. My hunch is correct.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): How embarrassing it' be if I sent my festive wishes via my MV and got no response!

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I hope the Dragon Boat Festival as an intangible cultural heritage that encourages imagination and creativity isn't diluting.

INT. BEDROOM - 22:00
Peter is working on his laptop.
PETER (V.O.): Festive wishes is a way to express goodwill, joy and positivity during festive times.
Peter inserts an AI drawing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Festive wishes connect with others and acknowledge the importance of family, friendship and community.
Checking a facebook notification, Peter sees a "like" of his Dragon Boat Festival MV.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Making festive wishes actually spreads happiness and positivity, showing appreciation and gratitude for the people in our lives.
