Act 1
INT. LIVING ROOM - 08:30
Smartphone in hand, PETER checks a travel brochure.
PETER (V.O.): I haven't travelled yet this April, but this packaged trip fits perfectly into my schedule.
Peter checks a weather forecast.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Light rain is expected during the trip. For other sunny days, the travel agent hasn't scheduled any trips.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My usual fallback is to stay in Shangrila, but I've already done that twice.
Peter taps to book a trip and the app automatically displays the single supplement he has to pay.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've travelled solo many times, but my wife still refuses to join me, even though she's retired.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I used to believe that company is more important than the travel itself, but my perspective has changed.
Act 2
EXT. COLUMBARIUM, TSUEN WAN - 13:00
After parking his car on a slope, Peter walks downhill towards the columbarium.
PETER (V.O.): Unlike my grandparents' graves at the foot of Nipple Mountain, the columbarium here is always well-maintained and tidy.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For some, paying tribute to the dead may seem formalistic, but I really yearn to come.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I knew my Dad loved and cared deeply for me, especially when he saw how I grieved the loss of Sharon in the summer of 1992.
Peter stops at a niche with a black-and-white photo of his Dad and inscriptions on the front cover.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Dad, here I'm.
Peter gently uses a wet tissue to lovingly clean the cover.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My Dad died in 2011, soon after I became Director of Intellecual Property, Hong Kong, China.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My Mom is still alive, but I've never felt her affection - but her love of money.
Peter kneels beside his late Dad's memorial and takes several selfies.
EXT. GOLDEN BAY - 14:30
Peter arrives and sees the red flag.
PETER: It won't deter me.
Peter wades into the water.
PETER (V.O.): I'm determined to exercise daily, hoping to embrace life more fully.
Peter swims non-stop for 45 minutes.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There aren't any floating platforms here.
Emerging from the water, Peter breathes heavily.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's exhausting, yet fulfilling.
INT. PETER'S NT HOME - 17:00
Sitting room G/F. Reclining on a sofa, Peter gazes at a framed photo of Sharon in her 30s.
PETER (V.O.): You always hold a place in my heart.
Studio, 1/F. Sitting at on old Yamaha piano, slightly out of tune, Peter tenderly plays an Asian musical piece.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe Sharon is surprised to discover that I've a sense of musicality.
EXT. ROADS TO URBAN AREA - 19:45
Peter drives a 1989 Nissan 200SX.
PETER (V.O.): In early January 1990, Sharon and I drove our newborn son home in this coupe.
Peter plays a cassette from the coupe's stereo.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Keeping this coupe feels like preserving moments in time.
We hear the song "I'll Never Find Another You".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I used to cry uncontrollably whenever this song was played,
PETER (Singing with deep emotion): ...I still need you there beside me, no matter what I do, for I know I'll never find another you...
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 21:30
Peter inserts an AI drawing titled: "Finding my way home..." to a draft on his laptop.
PETER (V.O): Home isn't just a place, it's the heart's compass guiding me back to where I belong.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Finding my way home means embracing the paths I've wandered, for every step has shaped who I'm.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Finding my way home is to rediscover the pieces of my heart that have been scattered along the way.
