  2. Act 1

  3. INT. HOME OFFICE - 19:00 (Yesterday)

  4. Messy. Smartphone in hand, PETER checks emails. One catches his attention.

  5. PETER (V.O.): Oh, those supporting me are still working when Hong Kong is partly stagnant due to extreme weather conditions.

  6. Peter begins to type on screen.

  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When there's momentum in anything, I want to keep it up and move it forward.

  8. Typing.

  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't let bureaucracy or complacency become unnecessary obstacles along the way.

  10. Typing.

  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm always quick to maximize effectiveness and efficiency as I aim to create and deliver value faster.

  12. Peter sends his reply.

  13. Act 2

  14. INT. STUDIO - 10:00

  15. Sitting behind his computer, Peter is watching a video clip "Every Chord and Chord Symbol Explained - The 7 Systems".

  16. PETER (V.O.): This is my second time watching it.

  17. Watching the Spatial system.

  18. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Last time, it was heavy-going for me.

  19. Watching the Major Scale Degree system.

  20. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having learned something, I'm building up a positive rhythm.

  21. Watching the Replacing, Adding and Omitting systems.

  22. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I want to stay focused, moving forward towards my goals to understand music theory, play the piano and compose better songs.

  23. Peter checks the time.

  24. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I've got to attend a lunchtime function now.

  25. INT. STUDIO - 19:00

  26. Playing the paused video clip in his computer, Peter watches the Alternate Bass Note system and the Stacking Chords system.

  27. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Okay, I understand the 7 systems more.

  28. Peter goes to the nearby Clavinova to play some chords.

  29. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Little by little, I'm progressing.

  30. Recalling.

  31. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In the past, I didn't have any clear goals about learning music and playing the piano.

  32. Recalling.

  33. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My late wife taught music theory and played the piano. I didn't want her to have any additional burden.

  34. Recalling.

  35. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When she's gone, I regret I had missed the opportunities to learn from her.

  36. Recalling.

  37. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Flipping through her music books and sheets, I thought the learning was too daunting for me.

  38. Recalling.

  39. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Around 10 years ago, I had opportunities to learn from the composer of a famous sound mark.

  40. Recalling.

  41. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When he shared his knowhow with me, all I could get was "the better use of intervals".

  42. Pausing.

  43. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I had no idea how to use intervals to shape melodies, create hooks and establish mood...

  44. Pausing.

  45. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): ... to create harmonic progressions that establish tonal centers, define tone qualities and create tension and resolution...

  46. Pausing.

  47. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):...to create musical independence, consonance and dissonance between different voices...

  48. Pausing.

  49. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I should have taken on the learning challenge by breaking the overwhelming tasks into smaller manageable steps.

  50. Pausing.

  51. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's only now that I'm doing this. Is it better late than never?

  52. Act 3

  53. INT. HOME OFFICE - 23:00

  54. Having input the prompt: "Forward Bound" in an AI art generator in his smartphone, Peter sees a cubist image appearing.

  55. PETER (V.O.): Forward signifies not being stagnant, making progress and moving ahead.

  56. Pausing.

  57. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Bound adds a sense of energy and drive, suggesting unstoppable force propelling one forward.

  58. Thinking.

  59. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Pursuing my goals, I'll continue to share stories of resilience and advancement.
