Act 2

PETER: Have you ever had a dinner prepared by a medical doctor?
WIFE: That isn't the context.
PETER: Right. She cooks very well too!

EXT. ROADS, CENTRAL - AFTERNOON (Last Sunday)
Stopping the car at a road junction, Peter directs his wife's attention to a building in front.
PETER: In the 1950s, a Chinese restaurant was housed there. Next to it was Graham Street where the Cheung family used to live.
His wife nods as Peter drives towards Sheung Wan.
PETER (V.O.): The vicinity used to be the Cheung's world.
EXT. HOSPITAL ROAD - LATER
Raining. Peter, his wife and their PET, appear.
WIFE: Let's go and take cover at the bus-stop meanwhile.
They then observe the vicinity.
WIFE: We used to live nearby...our elder daughter was allocated to the primary school right in front of us...when was that?
PETER: It was 20 years ago. You're doing the PCLL at HKU. We rented and lived in a sea-view premises nearby. We hoped that our elder daughter would get a lucky placement.

They then snuggle up to their pet.
INT. BOARD ROOM, HKUST - MORNING (EARLIER)
LADIES and GENTLEMEN are having a meeting.
PETER (V.O.): I'm glad that I could come in person. It's fortuitous that there's no clash of schedules.
The meeting continues to transact its business.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've done the right thing, all factors considered.
EXT. SILVERMINE BAY - LATER
One a floating platform, Peter is lying flat under the sun.
PETER (V.O.): It's like heaven on earth.
Peter swims to another floating platform. He lies flat, facing the mat this time.

INT. STUDY - LATER
Seeing a phone message, Peter checks it and looks worried.
PETER (V.O.): As a barrister, I'm not sure if I can help. How about my son?
Act 3
INT. STUDY - CONTINUOUS
Having typed on the phone, Peter sees prompt responses.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, my son is willing to help the classmate of his late maternal Mom! I'm so proud of him.
Having typed on the phone, Peter looks content. Then, he begins to replace the protector screen of another mobile.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've never done that by myself before. On previous occasions, I paid $100 and then $50. A fortnight ago, I bought a premium-tempered one for $10.
Following the instructions at the back of the protector packet, Peter does it himself and then checks the effect.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I can do it!
RETURN TO PRESENT
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, happy days indeed!
