INT. STUDY - 08:30
PETER is dressed in a smart-casual outfit.
PETER (V.O): I slept well last night.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Today, I've a HKUST Council meeting and a virtual conference to attend.
Peter puts his swimming gear into a bag.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): And after that, I want to swim in Silverstrand Bay.
Peter grabs his mobiles and iPad Mini.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): To resolve the conflict in commitments, I've to think and work SMART.
Act 2
INT. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, HKUST - 12:00
Meeting adjourned. A VICE-PRESIDENT and Peter have eye contact.
VICE-PRESIDENT: I love your song.
PETER (V.O.): Volunteering to sing in his party for knowledge transfer stakeholders coming Monday, I also attach the MV in my communication.
PETER: Is it okay for me to sing?
VICE-PRESIDENT: Sure!
PETER (V.O.): The lyrics of my song capture the gist of the knowledge transfer mission to advance HKUST's vision.
INT. FOYER, HKUST - 12:30
Seaview luncheon. In a round table, Peter sits between a lady DEAN and the lady PRESIDENT.
PETER (to DEAN): When my elder son was attending secondary schooling, he had the opportunities to learn history from HKUST professors.
DEAN: Our History department is small, but it's probably the best in Hong Kong.
PETER: I'm not surprised, as my son was enlightened by the priviledged knowledge transfer.
As PROFESSOR#1 and #2 deliver their speeches, Peter listens attentively.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, memory, language and cognitive problems are due to dieases in the brain...
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Oh, using AI to detect cancer can avoid unnecessary second surgeries...
Then we hear: Any questions from the floor? Peter can't wait to pose questions.
PETER (to Professor#1) : ...I don't know if I can wait for the new drug...
PETER (to Professor#2):...I love the new device...my uncle died during a second surgery a while ago...
PROFESSOR#1: ...Meanwhile, sleep well, eat healthy and exercise the brain can help...
PROFESSOR#2: ... the device accuracy is over 90%...
PETER (to President): I'm so pleased to hear the scientific and technological developments.
PRESIDENT: Although they take time, we're in the right directions.
PETER: I know your son is a medical doctor. My younger son has just completed his medical studies...
They chat and chat happily. Then, PROFESSOR#3 approaches.
PROFESSOR#3: Our table is quite quiet. I hear laughter from this table...Ah, Peter is here.
EXT. SILVERSTRAND BAY - 16:15
Wearing a wetsuit and towing a plastic stuff behind him, Peter swims at the outer edge of the swimming area.
PETER (V.O.): The luncheon speeches have motivated me further.
Returning to the beach, Peter discovers something.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Oh, I haven't inflated the float! Was I so preoccupied or was it just evidence of my memory problem?
We hear from Peter's moblie: This is the last session of today's conference...
INT. PETER'S STUDIO - 19:00
Peter tunes two 12-string acoustic guitars and one 6-string acoustic guitar.
PETER (V.O.): Let me select the one with the best sounds for group singing.
Peter plays them again and again. Then his young DAUGHTER appears.
DAUGHTER: We're watching the 7:45 show at an APM cinema.
PETER (V.O.): OMG, I agreed to join my wife and daughter yesterday but I've forgotten about it!
Act 3
INT. STUDY - 23:30
Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "Harmonizing Hearts".
PETER (V.O): All desire for connection and unity. My elder son and daughter-in-law is coming home for a Sunday dinner.
Smiling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Finding common grounds, I create a beautiful blend of emotions in people.
Smiling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love to engage others in a deep and meaningful level, fostering understanding and a shared sense of purpose.
