INT. DINING ROOM - 10:30
PETER, his WIFE and the family PET are having breakfast together.
INT. SITTING ROOM - 11:30
Smartphone in hand, PETER is responding to answer requests from Quorans' requests.
PETER (V.O.): No stock trading for today and tomorrow.
Peter's wife is attaching a screen protector on a new IPad Mini.
WIFE: Let me learn how to use it. See if when I can travel with it.
PETER: It represents a visible and tangible gain of your strategic short-term stock speculation. I'll buy one in due course.
WIFE: We'll take our pet out for dinner before going to a movie.
PETER: Sure!
Act 2
INT. STUDY - 14:00
Smartphone in hand, Peter checks emails and messages.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, I've missed one personal message and invitation that was sent to me days ago.
Taping on the phone screen, Peter fills a tick in a small box of a pdf form.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I'm glad that I can accept the e-invitation like that.
Soon, Peter sees a personal message.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the sender has been waiting for my positive reply!
Peter checks other emails.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, there's a webinar invitation from the Harvard Kennedy School Club.
Checking particulars.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've no problem in attending it at 21:00 Hong Kong time.
After filling a few particulars in an e-form, Peter gets an electronic response.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Done, good! My association with the Harvard Kennedy School began over 20 years ago.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I attended the Shaw Auditorium opening ceremony and concert performance about a fortnight ago.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I saw the Danish name of the person who was supposed to sit next to me, I was excited.
FLASHBACK
INT. THE OLD STOCK EXCHANGE (Borsen), COPENHAGEN - DAY (1999)
An ancient premises. GENTLEMEN#1 and #2, and Peter (45) are lecturing a small AUDIENCE.
PETER (V.O.): The objective was to lure the Danes to invest like Gentleman#1 in Hong Kong.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Gentleman#2 is a Hang Seng Bank guru. I talk about intellectual property protection in Hong Kong.
EXT. SEASIDE RESTAURANT, COPENHAGEN - NIGHT
Many container ships marked with the sign Maersk are in the vicinity.
PETER (V.O.): Now, I know the origin of this shipping line.
Gentleman #1 and #2, WIFE of gentleman#2 and Peter are dining in an exquisite environment.
EXT. MUSEUM EROTICA, COPENHAGEN - DAY
Gentleman#2 and his wife, and Peter are visiting the sex museum.
PETER (V.O.): It's really eye-opening - the highlight of our visit to Denmark!

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Since then, there's no particular business reason for us to get reconnected.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But gentleman#1 didn't show up. I recall I had a good chat with him about the continental culture.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I compared Vienna with Wan Chai, he remarked that the places were beyond comparison.

A. EXT. PET GARDEN - 17:30. The family pet is having fun as Peter and his wife looks on.
B. INT. PET-FRIENDLY RESTAURANT - 19:00. Peter, his wife and the family are having dinner.
C. INT. CINEMA - 22:00. Peter and wife are watching a movie.

Peter smiles.
