  5. PETER (V.O.): To avoid traffic jams to HKUST, I always go to meetings early.

  6. We hear from the car radio: The overseas stock markets were up...

  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They should impact on the Hong Kong one.

  8. Going uphill, PETER steps on the accelerator and the car climbs up swiftly.

  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't like getting stuck on slopy roads. My car is heavy.

  10. Driving.

  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It can't defy gravity. Me too.

  12. The campus of HKUST is in sight.

  24. Changing room. Peter is changing from suit to swim brief.

  25. PETER (V.O.): Today's meeting is a marathon one. We all have the value to do good.

  26. Pausing.

  27. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Privately, I've shared with the Lady the insight of Professor Charles Kao on knowledge transfer.

  28. Pausing.

  29. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was a good story as I learned it first-hand from the Professor over 20 years ago.

  30. Pausing.

  31. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): After a long day, I've thought about returning home direct and swimming in my estate's swimming pool.

  32. Pausing.

  33. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Somehow, I'm being gravitated to come here.

  34. Surfing the web with his smart phone, Peter reads the search result.

  35. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In physics, gravity is a fundamental interaction which causes mutual interaction between all things with mass or energy.

  36. On the beach, Peter stares at the floating platforms.

  37. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've never seen low tide as low as this. Strong gravity is at work.

  38. Peter enters the very shallow water.

  39. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Can I walk to the floating platforms?

  40. Peter walks towards the floating platform on the left.

  41. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But my point of coming here is to swim...

  42. Swimming close to the floating platform, Peter sees under water some fish.

  43. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That makes a refreshing difference.

  44. Having extended his hand to touch the fish in vain, Peter submerges into the water.

  45. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, my feet can't touch the ground. I'd better go up so that lifeguards would know that I'm not drowning.

  46. Kicking water, Peter surfaces quickly.

  47. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When one's down, literally or figuratively, it's gravity. But it's the first thing which people don't think.

  48. Pausing.

  49. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Sometimes, people may hate gravity, but gravity doesn't care.

  50. Act 3

  51. EXT. CLEAR WATER BAY/TSENG KWAN O - 17:15

  52. Stepping on the brake, Peter is driving downhill.

  53. PETER (V.O.): Gravity penetrates every substance of the universe.

  54. From the car radio, we hear: It's a surprise that Hong Kong's stock market today was down...

  55. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd) : Stock price is impacted by gravity, in the financial sense.

  56. Pausing.

  57. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Anyhow, I've been sustaining myself as a value center so that support may gravitate towards me.

  58. Peter drives on resolutely.
