KAJI laps water from her bowl.
KAJI (V.O.): The Pack Leader and Peter have just given me good treats.
Kaji twitches his ears.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't have to hunt, but I feel my prey drive.
Having selected a stuffed baby giraffe from her toy box, Kaji brings it to Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let's do hunting.
Act 2
INT. SITTING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
Taking her prey, Peter throws it in the air as Kaji focuses on it.
FLASHBACK
EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY
Seeing a bird in the bushes, Kaji becomes laser-focused.
KAJI (V.O.): I've found it.
Kaji approaches her prey quietly. But before she can pursue further, the bird flies away.
RETURN TO PRESENT
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I must capture it this time.
Jumping up to catch her prey, Kaji bites and shakes it hard.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Dare you to move!
Discreetly, Peter twitches the prey. Kaji responds swiftly and aggressively.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd):If it still tries to flee, it dies.
Repeats.
PETER: Well done!
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's such a fun to have a licence to kill.
Kaji smiles.
ACT 3
INT. SITTING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I belong to the Shiba Inu hunting breed. Peter has been my good hunting partner.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): If I'm the hunting Queen, Peter's the hunting King.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): So be it. I demand to be treated like a Queen.
Kaji maintains her triumphant posture.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Treat me like a game and I'll show you how it's played.
Kai twitches her nose.
