Kaji: A Warmer

FADE IN.

Act 1

INT. SITTING ROOM - MORNING

Sitting gorgeously in a piano chair, KAJI sees PETER coming home with carrier bags.

KAJI (V.O.): Good. He's bought our breakfast.

Observing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He's wearing a sweater. Is it cold outside?

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unlike me, he doesn't have a fur.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Inside is warm, most of the time.

Act 2

FLASHBACK

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - NIGHT

Finding her spot, Kaji lies on it.

KAJI (V.O.): I love to sleep on quilt.

Kaji sees a foot trying to reach her body.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's Peter's. His foot is cold. He loves to get my warmth.

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - MORNING

Waking up, Kaji sees Peter coming close, seeing her eye to eye.

KAJI (V.O.): I can feel the warmth from his heart.

Peter then rests close to her.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He's treating me like a warmer now.

END FLASHBACK

INT. DINING ROOM - LATER

Sitting with Peter under his arm, they have breakfast with the PACK LEADER and a GANG MEMBER.

KAJI (V.O.): We've cosy meals like this, from time to time.

Peter grabs round Kaji's neck tight.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Your arm as my scarf?

PETER: She's so warm.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I know you wish you could have my fur.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But can't you feel that I'm always attached to you?

Act 3

INT. SITTING ROOM - LATER

Resting in a pet bed, Kaji discovers something.

KAJI (V.O.): For awhile I haven't heard monotonous noise anymore. But it's cool inside.

Recalling.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The other day we went to the pet garden, it was cool outside too.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But my friends and I were so playful that we forgot about the environment.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now, I feel rather cold even inside.

Then, the MAID comes over, putting a blanket over Kaji's body.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She and others warm me.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let's all stay warm.

Kaji sees Peter showing a phone image to the pack leader and the gang member. Then they all look at her smilingly.

FADE OUT.
