Act 1
INT - SITTING ROOM - DAY
Selecting a stuffed toy from her toy box, KAJI brings it to Peter.
KAJI (V.O.): Hey, Peter! Let's play the "noser" game?
PETER: OK!
As soon as Peter throws the toy in the air, Kaji shoots it with her nose and it flies in the opposite direction.
KAJI (V.O.): That's fun!
Having retrieved the toy, Kaji brings it back to Peter smilingly.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Again!
Peter throws the toy in the air again, Kaji shoots it onto the massage chair nearby.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT - PET GARDEN - DAY
Inside a lawn surrounded by barriers, Kaji strolls on the green grass.
KAJI (V.O.): Oh, I hear and see a bird strolling outside the lawn...
Kaji gets nearer to the bird.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel excited, not just to see it, but to chase it.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): How can I get out of the lawn without returning to the entry/exit point?
Observing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The barriers have openings. Are they large enough for me to go through?
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've never done that before. But if I don't try this time, I'll lose sight of the bird, not to mention chasing it.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, I must try!
Kaji then examines the hollow spaces between the bars of one barrier.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe it's large enough for me to get through.
Carefully, Kaji lifts one hand to pass through the space, then another, and then her whole body.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I've done it. It's just a visual hazard! Now's the time!
As Kaji switches to hunting mode, she sees the bird lifting off hurriedly.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, my hot pursuit has become cool.
RETURN TO PRESENT
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And now, I've difficulty to retrieve the toy in the massage chair.
Picking up the toy for Kaji, Peter throws it into the air, but Kaji doesn't respond.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't want to play anymore. I feel bad that I can't fly.
ACT 3
INT. SITTING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
On the floor, Kaji is pondering.
KAJI (V.O.): But I did make the bird fly.
Kaji then jumps onto the sofa to sit with Peter
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Neither Peter nor I have wings.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Playing together, we can make the toy fly, for awhile.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And together, I believe we make each other fly high, even without wings!
FADE OUT.
