Kaji: Healthy Submission

FADE IN.

Act 1

INT. SITTING ROOM - NIGHT

KAJI smells something.

KAJI (V.O.): The pack leader and Peter are coming home.

Kaii goes to the door and waits.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): See if they bring home anything that I like.

Door opens. Kaji sees a stuff toy dangling in front of her face.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): My new prey! Great!

Kaji wastes no time to sniff it.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's quite big. I love the challenge.

Kaji begins to bite it frantically.

ACT 2

FLASHBACK

EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY

FRIENDS are all around. Getting their attention, a BOY about the same size as Kaji licks Kaji's mouth.

KAJI (V.O.): You want to please me? So annoying. Go away.

As the boy has gone, a big GUY comes near. Kaji stays put. OTHERS are staring.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): You're unpleasant. I won't back off. What do you want? I won't submit to you.

The guy goes away.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Everyone can see that I'm alert and firm. My tail stays high and won't go down.

Kaji's jumps up to a bench and sits there alone.

END FLASHBACK

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's my trait. I like to be dominant. But I don't have a junior to dominate at home.

Kaji tugs her prey.

KAJI (V.O.): Feeling the power of my pull? Like it or not, you've to submit to me!

Kaji tugs with more force.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Not begging for mercy? Pretending dead?

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unlike my other preys, this one is really submissive. It's unusual that it doesn't make any sound.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Have I frightened it to death so quickly?

Act 3

Tugging, Kaji shakes her head left and right, violently. The pack leader and Peter are laughing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I enjoy what I'm doing. Both the pack leader and Peter enjoy what they see too.

Peter then grabs Kaji's prey on one end, as Kaji grabs the other.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Playing tug of war over my prey with Peter is fun.

Reflecting.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Furthermore, this's the only time when we're on a level playing field, as partners.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): At other times, I give them my greatest gift - my total submission.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Healthy submission isn't about their authority or my obedience. It's all about our relationship of love, respect and trust.

Kaji then plays with the pack leader.
