Act 1
INT. HOME - MORNING
Sunlight streams into a dining room. PETER returns from outside, holding a loaf of bread in a clear bag.
KAJI (V.O): Breakfast time!
Kaji can't wait to greet Peter, guiding him to the dining table while whining with excitement. Then, the PACK LEADER appears.
PACK LEADER: No!
Kaji doesn't move, but one back foot shifts, performing a tiny, frustrated scrape against the floor. It's a muted, indoor version of her kick.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): I can only do this small, contained protest.
PACK LEADER (to Peter): It isn't good for her; she isn't slim.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): The warden has spoken. The breakfast alliance is, for now, dissolved.
Kaji turns with a one last, slightly more pronounced scrape of her paw on the floor.
Act 2
INT. HOME - LATER
Bedroom. The door creaks open and Kaji slips inside. She then leaps onto the bed to join Peter.
PETER (Whispering): Hey you, still hungry after your meal?
KAJI (V.O): Who could possibly turn down snacks?
Peter reaches into his pocket and pulls out a few pieces of bread in a clear bag.
PETER: Just a little.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): Our secret.
Peter offers them to Kaji. She takes the pieces with precision, quickly.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): The forbidden crunch.
As she swallows the last piece, she does two celebratory kicks with the back legs against the bedsheet.
INT. HOME - LATER
Quiet and empty. A single sunbeam cuts across the living room, illuminating Kaji resting in a large massage chair.
KAJI (V.O): When the Pack Leader is using it, I can hear the continuous kick-kick-kick sounds.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): I prefer the tranquility of silence and the warmth of sunshine.
Kaji lets out a long, contented sigh.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): What a wonderfully lazy afternoon for me.
EXT. RIVERSIDE PARK - EVENING
The golden hour. The park is peaceful. The Pack Leader and Peter walk side by side. Kaji trots ahead on her leash, sniffing the air with purpose.
KAJI (V.O): All scents are logged. Non-threatening.
Kaji leads them to a specific lush patch of grass.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): This is my spot.
Kajj sniffs it thoroughly, confirming its status, then assumes the position.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): Business is done.
Afterward, Kaji performs her signature move: a vigdorous, satisfying kick-kick-kick with her back legs, sending tufts of grass and dirt flying behind her.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): The ritual is complete. My turf is marked. A job well done.
The Pack Leader and Peter share an amused look.
INT. HOME - LATER
Kaji is observing the kitchen and the dining table.
KAJI (V.O): Anomaly. No one is working in the kitchen and the dining table isn't set.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): On nights like this, it'd be set for four or five.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): I'd sit beside them, gettng some snacks from the Pack Leader and Peter.
Soon, Kaji spots the Pack Leader, Peter, along with a gang MEMBER, preparing to leave home.
PACK LEADER: Stay home. Be a good girl.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): That means I'll be alone without any snacks.
Act 3
INT. HOME - CONTINUOUS
Kaji rests in the massage chair.
KAJI (V.O): The "kick-kick-kick" isn't about covering. It's the satisfying stamp on a completed transaction with the earth.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): My kicks are the canine equivalent of a masterpiece that only they can appreciate.
Reflecting.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd): Kick-Kick-Kick is a symphony of scent, a declaration of territory, and a ritual of closure, all performed in three silent, powerful movements.
