Kaji: My Woody?

Act 1

INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHT

Sitting at the dinning table, KAJI smells something.

KAJI (V.O.): A treat?

It appears that a figure with a GANG MEMBER is bringing something to Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The figure's skin colour is similar to mine. Is it a big treat?

Kaji sticks her nose all over the figure.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): No, the figure isn't edible.

Kaji then sniffs a cracker that the figure is presenting.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, that's the small treat.

Courageously, Kaji grabs it.

Act 2

INT. DINING ROOM - LATE MORNING

As the PACK LEADER and the GANG are about to take their seats, Kaji assumes hers first.

KAJI (V.O.): Being among the alphas is the most noble thing I can do as a beta.

Suddenly, the figure appears right in front of Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here it comes again? What's its position among us?

Recalling.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday afternoon at the pet garden, I came across a senior beta. As a junior beta, I greeted her and showed my respect.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is it the way how the figure shows its respect to me?

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It doesn't dare to attack me. I don't have to be afraid of it. I needn't respond defensively.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But it appears with the Pack Leader and the Gang. Is it an alpha like them, having the top dominant position?

Recalling.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): No. Yesterday night when it was introduced to me, it pleased me with a treat.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): So I believe it's an omega, subservient to me as a beta and the Pack Leader and the Gang as alphas.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But the Pack Leader and the Gang offer me treats too! I'm totally confused.

Kaji is perplexed.

ACT 3

INT. DINING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

Kaji continues to observe the figure which stands watching all on the table.

KAJI (V.O.): Yes, it doesn't dare to beg food from the Pack Leader and the Gang.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And it also dares not compete with me.

Observing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It may just be our new servant with a wooden body, and probably a wooden heart too.

Wondering.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Should I name this omega as my "Woody"?
