Act 1
INT. HOME - NIGHT/DAY
In bed with the PACK LEADER and PETER, KAJI sleeps closely to Peter.
KAJI (V.O.): I feel secure and comfortable.
Hearing a sound from the sitting room, Kaji goes out to check.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, our maid has left home.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe Peter will go out to get food soon.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): On food matters, he won't play with me.
Later, Kaji sees Peter going out.
Act 2
INT. HOME - LATER
After hearing some key sounds, Kaji sees the door opening.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me see if I can sniff bread?
Sniffing a bag as Peter appears.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, I'm right!
Kaji begins to whine.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm pretty hungry as my meal time is near.
Kaji and Peter begin to have breakfast together. Soon, there's nothing left on the table.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now, I don't have to worry if my meal is delayed or not.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): When the maid is at home, she feeds me on time.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But when she's not here, the Pack Leader likes to delay my meal.
MONTAGE OF THE PACK LEADER PLAYING WITH KAJI
A The Pack Leader shows a big treat to Kaji.
B. Staring at the treat, Kaji listens to the Pack Leader's commands inattentively.
C. Nevertheless, Kaji performs "Hand", "the other one", "Hi Five" and "Sit".
D. Having heard a high-pitched "OK", Kaji grabs the treat with her long tongue.
END MONTAGE
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, I should thank Peter for his support.
Climbing up onto him, Kaji begins to lick Peter's face passionately.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Not hungry now, still I've the desire to hunt.
Kaji goes to her toy box, selects a prey and takes it to Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Would you play with me?
Peter looks back.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me show you how to play again.
Getting the toy prey, Peter throws it in the air casually.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He doesn't seem to be enthusiastic though.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): My pride is stronger than my urge to play.
Observing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He looks preoccupied. All work and no play?
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That makes you sad and grey!
Stop engaging Peter, Kaji turns to something else.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Don't forget to make a life!
Act 3
INT. HOME - LATER
At the dining table, Kaji sits between the Pack Leader and Peter, among the GANG.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's good to see a returning Gang Member. I don't know what game he plays when he's not with us.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): For me, when to play and with whom count.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although I can play the fetching game better than Peter, I still want him to play with me.
Discreetly, Peter passes some macaroni to Kaji, unnoticed by others.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): That's why I think of him all the time.
