Kaji: Predictive Power

FADE IN.

Act 1

INT - BEDROOM/BATHROOM - MORNING

Getting out of bed, KAJI waits at the closed door.

KAJI (V.O.): I predict Peter will open the door for me.

Seeing Peter going to the bathroom, Kaji sneaks in.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Why don't you open the door for me first?

The door is open.

INT - SITTING ROOM/DINING ROOM - LATER

Kaji sees Peter going out.

KAJI (V.O.): I predict he'll return with a loaf of bread for our breakfast.

Later, Peter comes back with a loaf of bread. And they've breakfast together.

Act 2

INT. SITTING ROOM - AFTERNOON

Kaji stares at Peter elegantly.

KAJI (V.O.): It's been a while we haven't been to the pet garden...

Peter captures a photo of Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I predict we'll go out soon.

Soon, we hear: "Kai, Kai".

EXT. PARK SIDE - LATER

Kaji follows the PACK LEADER and Peter.

KAJI (V.O.): I don't think we're walking in the right direction...

PACK LEADER: Wait here. I'll return shortly.

As soon as the Pack Leader has entered a mall, a FAMILY of three bump into Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.): Hi, There!

Kaji jumps up onto the MOTHER to greet them. Her CHILDREN touch Kaji affectionately.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Beautiful people.

Later, Kaji whines.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The pack leader isn't back yet.

Then, the Pack Leader rejoins them. Kaji waits no time to lead and run.

SEQUENCE OF KAJI AT THE PET GARDEN LATER

A. Lawn, Having done her usual routine, Kaji plays with her FRIENDS.

B. Path. Kaji greets MASTER#1 by jumping onto his leg.

C. Bench. Sitting steadily, the Pack Leader combs Kaji's fur.

RETURN TO PRESENT

EXT. PARK SIDE - LATE AFTERNOON

We hear and see a DOG barking near MASTER#2. Then, we see white pigeons getting close to Master#2.

KAJI (V.O.): Oh, I'd like to chase them.

Having been fed by Master#2, the pigeons fly away.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, no.

ACT 3

INT. BATHROOM/BEDROOM - NIGHT

Kaji sees Peter going to the bathroom.

KAJI (V.O.): He'll go to bed soon

Peter goes to bed.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): If he smells good, I'll lick his nose and face.

Kaji jumps up onto the bed.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Today, I've watched nearly everything I predicted happen.

Kaji steps on Peter's chest.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): If elegance doesn't pay, my predictive power does.

FADE OUT.
