Kaji: Sense of Touch

FADE IN.

Act 1

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - MORNING

KAJI sleeps near the end of the bed. Hearing some sounds. Kaji opens her eyes a little.

KAJI (V.O.): Oh, it's Peter getting out of bed,

Kaji doesn't move her body a bit.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): It's still early in the morning.

We see a mother-like hand from under the quilt touching Kaji's body.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I believe it's comforting to touch me.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): So, I won't move. I don't want to wake up the pack leader.

Peter returns to bed.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): He should have the sense that it isn't breakfast time yet.

Kaji returns to sleep.

Act 2

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - LATER

Waking up, Kaji jumps out of bed. Having stretched her legs, Kaji waits at the door.

Hearing some sounds, Peter gets out of bed to open the door to let Kaji out.

INT. SITTING ROOM - LATER

Quiet. Kaji inspects.

KAJI (V.O.): I see nobody and hear no sounds. Where's our maid?

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I can't smell anything exciting either.

Kaji returns to the sleeping room.

INT SLEEPING ROOM - LATER

Swiftly, Kaji jumps up onto the bed.

KAJI (V.O.): Part of the quilt is blocking my way. I want to say Hello to Peter.

Kaji then makes a full 4-paw jump to get closer to Peter.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Morning, Peter,

Lying in bed, Peter greets Kaji with a smile.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): There's no one outside.

Getting out of bed, Peter opens the door to check.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): No one is preparing anything for us.

Peter shakes his head sideways.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): See, I've told you already.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Our maid might have gone out.

Kaji returns to her bed spot.

KAJI (V.O.): Just wait patiently.

Act 3

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

In bed, Peter attempts to extend his feet to touch Kaji's body as Kaji puts her front paws on the feet of the pack leader.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): We all try to keep in touch.

The sleeping pack leader doesn't make a move.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I believe she finds it comforting too.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): The sense of touch comes before sight, sound, smell and taste. It's the basic mode of communication.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): My sense of touch can go to extreme when I love somebody.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I feel I can touch the hearts of the pack leader and the gang.

FADE OUT.
