Kaji: Stay Focused

Act 1

INT. SITTING ROOM - MORNING

KAJI sees the PACK LEADER and PETER focusing on a computer on the table.

KAJI (V.O.): I've guarded them during their dinner.

Licking her lips.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I've just finished mine. I don't want to join them.

The Pack Leader grabs Kaji and puts her sitting next to Peter.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't know why they like to talk to the no-scent images on the screen.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now is actually the time I like to play.

Act 2

FLASHBACK

INT. SITTING ROOM - NIGHT

As Kaji passes a toy carrot to him, Peter throws it in the air.

KAJI (V.O.): I can bump it.

Bumping it with her nose, the toy carrot flies in the air before hitting the sofa.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ha, that's fun. Again!

Seeing her smiling, Peter throws the toy carrot towards Kaji again.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can bump this one forcefully too!.

As she bumps on it, the toy carrot shoots like a bullet.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ha! Ha!, I love doing that. Again! Again!

END FLASHBACK

The Pack Leader sees Kaji isn't attentive.

PACK LEADER: Stay focused!

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can't control my impulse. I'm only motivated to resist.

Noting Kaji's disobedience, the Pack Leader uses her thumb and index fingers to force Kaji into the right position.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've to accept it, suspending my judgment meanwhile.

ACT 3

INT. SITTING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

Listening.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The voices are familiar to me. A young man was still at home weeks ago. I haven't smelt the scent of the young woman for a long, long time.

Reflecting.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's good is that the Pack Leader, Peter and the maid are always at home. They often reward me for doing nothing.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Staying focus should be easy. I just visualize the critical tasks I've to do eg having treats again and again.

FADE OUT.
