FADE IN.
Act 1
INT. DINING ROOM - DAY
KAJI sees PETER and the PACK LEADER approaching the dining table.
KAJI (V.O.): Let me take my seat.
As Kaji waits for her share of the breakfast, Peter is staring at her tail.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'm the head and not the tail.
Peter then makes a move taking a photo of Kaji's tail, half of it is curling behind the back of the chair.
PACK LEADER: What are you doing?
Peter shows Kaji's tail image to the pack leader.
PETER: Isn't it beautiful? If there's a pageant contest on tails, Kaji will win.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Apart from the gang's beauty queen, I'll win again?
Act 2
INT. DINING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
FLASHBACK
EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY
As she's chatting with her FRIENDS, Kaji sees a big DOG eyeing at her.
KAJI (V.O.): He doesn't have a horn, but his ugly tail wags towards the left.
The big dog tries to use his nose to catch Kaji's tail.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I don't like such a dominating tail talking.
While Kaji takes evasion actions, Peter and the pack leader are watching.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm confident that my firm position would defer him.
Kaji continues to confront the big dog.
PETER: Despite the challenge, Kaji's curled tail position remains the same.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I care about every little thing, and so I don't lose anything.
The pack leader nods.
PETER: Other small dogs would have held their tails between their legs in situations like this.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The reputation of my gang is at stake.
Peter looks proud.
PETER (Cont'd): She's not afraid. Her tail can tell.
The big dog goes away.
END FLASHBACK
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm cool. I don't wag my curled tail, even when other good fellows are around.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But it seems that my gang members expect me to do a little wagging.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Due to my tail's curl shape and the intensity, it's hard to wag my tail.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Humans can't wag their hair when they've just done their hair.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I did on one very happy occasion wagging my curled tail a bit for 1-2 seconds.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Well, that was quite a while ago now.
Act 3
INT. DINING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
After passing some food to Kaji, Peter stares at her curly tail again.
PETER: Her tail is pretty neutral now, neither relaxed nor intense.
KAJI (V.O.): In standing position, my tail curls upwards towards the back to form a tight curl.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I don't know how my tail looks like in sitting position.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But my tail has attracted Peter.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's why he thinks I can be a pageant dog, whether of my head or of my tail.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I believe my true beauty begins the moment I decide to be myself.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And the happier I'm, the more beautiful I become.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Apart from eyes, I capture hearts too.
FADE OUT.
