FADE IN.
Act 1
INT. BEDROOM/SITTING ROOM - MORNING
KAJI is herding PETER out.
KAJI (V.O.): I don't see the maid. Go and buy breakfast.
Peter goes out. Later, he returns with a bag. Kaji jumps up on his legs to sniff.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, that's my favourite.
INT. DINING ROOM - LATER
Eating at the dining table, Peter passes Kaji a big slice.
KAJI (V.O.): It must be love.
Having finished breakfast, they get back to bed.
Act 2
SEQUENCE OF KAJI'S THOUGTS ABOUT PETER
A. Yesterday afternoon, at the pet garden, Kaji sees that Peter is always within her sight.
B. Yesterday evening, Kaji and the PACK LEADER get off of Peter's car to go to the hairdresser.
C. Yesterday night. After getting back to Peter's car, Peter pets Kaji.
D. Later at home. Kaji waits for Peter in bed.
E. Waking up, Kaji gets close to Peter before getting out of bed.
RETURN TO PRESENT
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I never thought I'd miss him half as much.
Kaji gets near to Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd):I couldn't be happy in any other way.
Kaji sleeps.
INT. SITTING ROOM - AFTERNOON
Relaxing on a sofa, Kaji leans against Peter's lap.
KAJI (V.O.): Just the two of us.
Kaji is about to take a nap as Peter is having screen time.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's fine if I see Peter as soon as I wake up.
Later, waking up, Kaji sees Peter's going out.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Are you sure you're leaving me alone?
Door closing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I'm feeling blue now.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Don't you know I need you to take my blues away!
Act 3
INT. SITTING ROOM/BEDROOM - NIGHT
Kaji joins Peter in bed.
KAJI (V.O.): Nothing more. Nothing less.
Kaji licks Peter's nose, lips and eyelids.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It must be love, although I don't say so with words.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Bless Peter! Bless me! Love is the best.
Peter pets Kaji's fur.
THE END
