Act 1

INT. CORRIDOR : DAY

KAJI watches the PACK LEADER hanging an object on the wall.

KAJI (V.O.): Whose that?

Observing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She looks like me.

The pack leader ensures the object is secured.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, she gets all the attention of the pack leader.

Kaji checks the object again.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She looks like a lady.

Act 2

INT. SITTING ROOM - AFTERNOON

Kaji is in thoughts.

KAJI (V.O.): Am I a lady? Classy and fabulous?

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Or am I something else?

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): There're different ways to be good and beautiful.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): As a shiba inu, I'm unique and different. I shine in my own way.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The pack leader and the gang can't find another one like me.

Kaji sees the Pack leader and PETER watching the object attentively.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): They display affection towards the lady. Hmm...

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The lady has a higher status than me too.

Thinking.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I gotta be a beauty and a beast this time.

Jumping up onto her sofa, Kaji gets closer to the lady.

KAJI: I'm senior to you here. I tell you what.

Pausing.

KAJI (Cont'd): Don't you compete with me for the love of the pack leader and the gang, do you?

Pausing.

KAJI (Cont'd): If you don't submit, make a noise or a gesture.

Waiting.

KAJI (Cont'd): I hear and see none. You're compliant.

ACT 3

INT. CORRIDOR - NIGHT

Kaji walks past.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): You're pretty quiet and tame.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): You're far too good to play the lady's game.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): You've made better, leading and liking you.

Kaji looks content.
