FADE IN.

Act 1

INT. BEDROOM - MORNING

Resting next to the PACK LEADER, KAJI is waiting patiently.

KAJI (V.O.): She's still fast asleep.

Looming over her in a front-on stance with a phone in hand, PETER tries to find an angle for a photo of Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't feel comfortable at all.

Maintaining her posture, Kaji avoids to have any eye contact with Peter.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He might be frustrated, but I won't care,

Act 2

FLASHBACK

INT. SITTING ROOM - YESTERDAY AFTERNOON

Peter is talking to Kaji.

PETER: Kai Kai?

KAJI (V.O.): Is that right?

Whining.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Yes! I'm anxious to go!

EXT. PET GARDEN - LATER

Kaji, the Pack leader and a GANG MEMBER arrive.

KAJI (V.O.): I can see a lot of heads turning.

SOMEONE, with ears slightly up and a little to the side, comes over to greet Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Hi, I suppose we haven't met before.

They turn their heads a little, avoiding eye contact. Then, they curve round each other to sniff behind, before moving away.

END FLASHBACK

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's how we greet each other courteously for the first time.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whether we interact further would depend on my mood.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Right now, my priority is to accompany the pack leader and wait for her to wake up.

As Peter moves away from her, Kaji also moves to another bed spot, keeping Peter out of her sight.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I hope he wouldn't bother me further. But let me check...

As Kaji turns her head, Peter captures a photo of her.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Come on!

More camera shutter sounds.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He always has his eyes on me.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Am I a head-turning beauty?

ACT 3

INT. BEDROOM - LATER

Leaving the room, Peter closes the door.

KAJI (V.O.): Wait!

Kaji puts her nose at the closing door. Peter turns his head and notes that.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Mind my nose...

Peter waits for Kaji to come through.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're the type not just turning heads; we also turn souls.

FADE OUT.
