  1. FADE IN.

  2. Act 1

  3. INT. STUDY - DAY

  4. Smart phone in hand, PETER checks an answer request.

  5. PETER (V.O.): Who do some people feel that the coronavirus outbreak is just propaganda?

  6. Pausing.

  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They're just foolish people who don't understand that their lives are at risk during the outbreak.

  8. Pausing.

  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But to explain why they respond like that requires some intellectual analysis. Let me try.

  10. Pausing.

  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me first deal with the objective knowledge, then their intuitive feeling, before applying the quadrant analysis to explain the behaviour.

  12. We see Peter typing on the screen: Knowledge is objective and can be acquired. Knowing is personal experience which can be rational or intuitive. While one's knowing may contribute to knowledge, knowledge can educate and uplift a person.

  13. PETER (V.O.): The quadrants are: One knows what one knows. One knows what one doesn't know. One doesn't know what one knows. And one doesn't know what one doesn't know.

  14. Typing.

  15. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In treating outbreak facts as propaganda, either the person knows what s/he doesn't know, or the person doesn't know what s/he knows.

  16. Typing.

  17. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Or the person simply doesn't know what s/he doesn't know. It's really hard to separate fools from their foolishness.

  18. Pausing.

  19. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The intellectual exercise is great. Let me answer more.

  20. Act 2

  21. INT. STUDY - CONTINUOUS

  22. Peter scrolls down the screen.

  23. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ha! Here's a fishing question: What is the most profitable thing to do during the CONVID-19 pandemic?

  24. Pausing.

  25. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Economically, it must be in the field of CONVID-19 testing. But few would have the capacity and support to deliver the value proposition.

  26. FLASHBACK

  27. INT. HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL - DAY (2005)

  28. Having spoken, Peter (51) begins to mingle with the AUDIENCE. A STUDENT (20s) began to chat with Peter.

  29. PETER: You're studying in Harvard?

  30. STUDENT: No, I'm from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

  31. PETER: What do you expect to get from joining Harvard's Asia Business Conference at Cambridge here?

  32. STUDENT: To have better networks.

  33. END FLASHBACK

  34. PETER (V.O.): He did keep in touch with me. And later, he said he didn't mind working in Hong Kong, if there's a job that pays very good but requires very little effort.

  35. Pausing.

  36. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): How would I refer such a person to any employer in Hong Kong?

  37. Reflecting.

  38. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My back pain is going away. Let me respond to the question with something not to impress but would have impact.

  39. We see Peter typing on the phone the following: Health is wealth. Enjoy taking good care of health before the coronavirus' swallowing it in no time.

  40. A beat.

  41. Peter checks his phonescreen.

  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Wow! Several hundreds views of my answer in minutes. They might have wished that I would disclose something that should make lots of money.

  43. Pausing.

  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In fact, whatever that's so valuable must be unique and shouldn't be disclosed otherwise it won't remain valuable.

  45. Peter checks other answer requests.

  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here's another question focusing on self-care: Should generally "healthy" people be concerned about the coronavirus?

  47. Peter types on the phone.

  48. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Two reasons. First, there's the risk that they may get very sick or die. Second, they might also be asymptomatic coronavirus spreaders, causing harm to others.

  49. Peter checks something.

  50. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The CONVID-19 mortality rate is 16%, although a high percentage of it are people over 65.

  51. Pausing.

  52. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's some evidence to suggest that 50-80% of the CONVID-19 patients are asymptomatic.

  53. Peter surfs the web further.

  54. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's therefore the suggestion that the spread of the coronavirus first began in Sept, 2019 - only that the disease was diagnosed in Dec. 2019 in Wuhan.

  55. Pondering.

  56. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It'll be very revealing if we could hear what Mother Nature has to say to that. But it won't.

  57. Act 3

  58. INT. STUDY - CONTINUOUS

  59. Peter checks his phone again.

  60. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Do I look at a lot of photos these days?

  61. Pausing.

  62. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): People are nostalgic. But my observation is deeper than that.

  63. Pausing.

  64. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I take photos each day to capture moments and memories. A photo is worth not just 1000 words as it freezes an instant out of time.

  65. Pausing.

  66. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I live to the fullest as if today is the last day of my life.

  67. Pausing.

  68. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): So is my pet Kaji too.

  69. Reflecting.

  70. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, life isn't a rehearsal.

  71. Peter smiles.

  72. FADE OUT.

  73. THE END
