  4. While dressing up PETER takes a look of his WIFE who is still sleeping in bed.


  5. PETER (V.O.): Yesterday, we had dinner after 10 pm.

  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I was in court too, wearing my facemask for about eight hours.


  8. Peter touches the contours of his face.


  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The mask I wore yesterday was ill-fitting, leading to some soreness.


  10. Pausing.


  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Today, I'm doing voluntary work and there'll be photo sessions.

  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Well, I won't wear a face mask today.


  14. Act 2


  15. INT. SHAW AUDITORIUM - 15:30


  16. GUESTS including Peter are witnessing ceremony. A honorary FELLOW is speaking on stage.


  17. PETER (V.O.): We have a lot in common. We didn't born with a silver spoon.


  18. Listening.


  19. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): He was studying Accountancy at home. I was studying Philosophy at home.

  21. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes we're examples as to how smart work can shape on one's career development.


  22. We hear: ...many appointments after retirement...my wife doesn't know what I do...I love you...


  23. PETER: Wow!


  24. A COLLEAGUE sitting next to Peter hears that too.


  25. COLLEAGUE (to Peter): Isn't it sweet?


  26. PETER (V.O.): Is it planned or a spontaneous outpouring of emotions?


  27. Pausing.


  28. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In any event, he has created a memorable and special moment.


  29. FLASHBACK


  30. INT. COUNCIL CHAMBERS - 09:25


  31. MEMBERS, including PETER, are taking their seats. A PROFESSOR talks to Peter.


  32. PROFESSOR: Have you hugged your son?


  33. Peter looks embarrassed.


  34. PETER: We discussed about emotional connection and physical touch about a fortnight ago...


  35. PROFESSOR: Hugging is a powerful non-verbal way to express care and love...


  36. PETER: But my family's background and dynamics are such that we've a more reserved approach to physical contact...


  37. PROFESSOR: Physical expression of affection strengthen human bonds...


  38. PETER: Yes, but generational differences influence the level of comfort and acceptance...

  40. INT. STREET/MALL - 18:00


  41. A little rain. Peter is rushing towards a mall.


  42. PETER (V.O.): My wife asked me to arrange to fix two defective smartphones for her. One was done yesterday.


  43. Inside the mall, Peter rushes towards a smartphone stall just to find that it's closed.


  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Why? I picked up the first smartphone around this time yesterday.


  45. Walking closer, Peter sees a notice: Closing early due to an emergency.


  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I just want my wife to get back the fixed smartphone the soonest possible.


  47. Pausing.


  48. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She prefers that, although it isn't urgent.


  49. Pausing.


  50. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've tried - my subtle way to show my emotional connection.

  52. INT. BEDROOM - 23:00

  53. Having input the prompt: "Love Unmasked" in an AI art generator in his smartphone, Peter sees a cubist image appearing.


  54. PETER (V.O.): Public declaration of love is a way to make the partner feel cherished and special.


  55. Peter inserts the image to a text appearing in his laptop screen.


  56. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In so doing, one may also seek acknowledgement and support from one's social circle.


  57. Having typed and edited the text, Peter clicks "save and publish".


  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I keep my personal feelings and intimate moments in my own private but public way.
