INT. BEDROOM - 07:15
Waking up, PETER looks pleased.
PETER (V.O.): I've had a sweet dream. How nice to start my day!
Peter goes to the toilet.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If I can choose to have sweet dreams, I don't mind having more.
Peter does his exercises.
INT. COURT BUILDING - 08:45
Security area. Carrying a bulky brief case, a white-haired Peter in a black suit takes the lawyers' lane, as other uniformed STAFF watch on. They exchange casual morning greetings.
PETER (V.O.): They begin working earlier than me.
While picking up X-rayed belongings. Peter has eye contact with an old GENTLEMAN in a suit. They nod to each other.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We aren't young, but we're still working.
Act 2
MONTAGE OF PETER'S MORNING WORK - 09:00
A. Office. Peter discusses with COLLEAGUE#1.
B. Court#1. Peter discusses with a COUNSEL.
C. Court#1. Peter submits before the bench.
D. Room. Smart phone in hand, Peter and Counsel check their diaries.
E. Court#2. Peter submits before the bench.
F. Office. Peter studies several files.
G. Court#1: Peter submits before the bench.

INT. RESTAURANT - 13:00
Peter has just done his orders.
PETER (V.O.): Just then a 71 years old woman was jailed for the first time as she violated a suspended sentence order.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): She has been living alone. She likes shoplifting. Maybe she's bored.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): A new experience should be good for her.
As a bowl of soup is put on the table, Peter finishes it all right away.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I've spoken a lot this morning.
Then a plate of Fried Beef Noodles with Vegetables is put on the table.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Just look at its presentation. It made my day!
Peter captures an image of it with his smart phone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Due to the pandemic, I haven't come here for lunch for many months.
Peter samples the sliced beef, then the fried noodles and then the green vegetable.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): They're very delicious. I'll come again tomorrow.
INT. OFFICE - 14:00
MONTAGE OF PETER'S AFTERNOON WORK
A. A file in hand, COLLEAGUE#1 briefs Peter.
B. COLLEAGUE#2 briefs Peter on a pile of files.
C. Peter studies the files and makes calls.
D. Peter types on a desktop and prints a document.
E. Peter signs off many files.
END MONTAGE
INT. STUDY - 18:30
Peter checks a WhatsApp message.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, my youngest brother has got COVID again. He has to disclose that as he couldn't help our Mum to find her identity card.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Last-in-first-out memory loss is common for the elderly as brain functions begin to decline around age 65. I know that.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 23:00
Peter is working on a laptop.
PETER (V.O.): What we do in a day may be hard. But gradually it makes life easy.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As our choices make us, we can end a day with positive thoughts.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Tomorrow is another opportunity to make life better. Meanwhile, see if I'll have another sweet dream.
