FADE IN
Act 1
INT. LIVING ROOM - 10:00
Mobile in hand, PETER is muttering Italian.
PETER (V.O): It's only now I know "Carina" means cute in Italian.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I used to think it's just a car model.
Ding! Ding! Hearing notification tones, Peter checks his chat groups.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Relatives and friends are exchanging Mid-Autumn Festival greetings.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): For China and some other Asian countries, the festival is only second to the New Year.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Today is still a working way in Hong Kong. For my elder daughter and son-in-law in South Korea, festive time began last Friday afternoon.
Act 2
EXT. SILVERSTRAND BAY - 13:45
Sunny. As Peter glides through the crystal-clear water, the sunlight filters down, casting shimmering patterns on the sandy bottom.
PETER (V.O): That's nice.
Suddenly, a flicker of movement catches Peter's eyes.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): What's that?
Below him, Peter watches in awe a school of tiny fish darting in unison. Peter pauses, floating effortlessly.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I feel a sense of tranquility. I'm surrounded by the beauty and harmony of nature.
INT. STUDY - 15:45
Working before a non-responsive Sony Vaio laptop, Peter clicks the recovery safe mode icon.
PETER (V.O): Perhaps, I should mine my MV on Mid-Autumn Festival, depicting the Plitvice lakes.
Surfing YouTube with his mobile, Peter finds his MV and views it.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): While my wife and I, together with friends were touring Croatia in 2017, I got news from the Hong Kong Bar that I could commence practice.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I was pretty excited. And then I felt the tranquility in Plitvice lakes. They're as nice as China's Jiuzhaigou.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): As the Mid-Autumn Festival was approaching, I used my video clips and made another MV, although the visuals didn't match with the song.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): But the sunny Mid-Autumn Festival today makes the visuals relevant.
Having shared the link with many chatgroups, Peter checks a reaction: Having seen your MV, I feel very relaxed....
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): It's from Sandy. Good.
Ringtones. Peter checks the caller: Johnny.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): It's from my instructing solicitor...
SOLICITOR (from phone): Thanks for your MV...Did you have a team help with the MV?
PETER (to phone): All me. Just me and my passion.
PETER (V.O): The way I sang in Cantonese and English in that song was unique.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I couldn't sing like that after commencing practice. I shouldn't work in retirement anymore.
EXT. PARK - PROMENADE - 21:30
Walking the family pet with lanterns at the estate park, Peter and his WIFE gaze at the full and super moon.
PETER (V.O): How many more of this would I get? I'm 70 already.
Arriving in the crowded promenade, they watch PEOPLE celebrating, laughter echoing in the night.
WIFE: It's really festive time.
Suddenly, a blinding flash of lightning splits the sky, illuminating the surroundings for an instant. Thunders and heavy rain follow.
PETER: Our pet can now have a closer encounter of what she fears the most!
WIFE: I've just got one small umbrella...
PETER: I don't mind getting very wet
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 23:00
A wet-haired Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "Moonlit Reflections..." to a draft in his laptop.
PETER (V.O): I celebrate memories too. Reflecting on past travel or creative experience provides a sense of purpose and accomplishment.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Contemplating the future and the time I've left encourage me to live fully and make the most of each moment.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Cherishing moments with loved ones and participating in communal celebrations fosters personal bonds and social connections.
