  3.

  4. EXT. BEDROOM - 07:45

  5. Sunlight streams through the window. PETER wakes up.

  6. PETER (V.O.): I feel refreshed and am ready to embrace the day.

  7. Peter takes a look of the books stacked beside him, an ukulele and two mini amplifiers resting nearby.

  8. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They meant to stay here until our other apartment, just two units away, is renovated.

  9. Pausing.

  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I imagined playing the guitars stored beneath the bed in my new studio.

  11. Pausing.

  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But now, I've realized that my wife and I need rooms of our own.

  13. Act 2

  14. MONTAGE OF THEIR OTHER APARTMENT (Spriing 2025)

  15. A. Sitting room. A studio-like space brimming with guitars, amplifiers, music and guitar stands, and audio-visual equipment.

  16. B. Dining room. Beside the Clavinova sits a desk equipped with a laptop, printers, usb drives, and bookshelves filled with books.

  17. C. Kitchen. Alongside the unused cabinets and cooking equipment, around six guitars in gig bags lean against the wall.

  18.  D. Bedrooms. Two are unoccupied as their daughters aren't living in Hong Kong, while the remaining one is filled with luggage.

  19. END MONTAGE

  25. PETER: To me, the fixtures and fittings still appear modern.

  26. WIFE: I want to achieve a fresh, updated look.

  27. PETER (V.O.): I know you've a new dream to pursue.

  28. WIFE (Cont'd): Could you accomodate this, allowing you to use one of the rooms?

  29. MONTAGE OF MOVING HOUSE

  30. A. Garbage collection point. Peter discards stacks of books and papers.

  31. B. Peter's NT home. Peter and his wife reinstall the Clavinova in the G/F sitting room. Peter carries the guitars upstairs.

  33. END MONTAGE

  34. EXT. RIVERSIDE PARK - EVENING (Two days ago)

  35. Peter and his wife chat as they walk KAJI, the family pet.

  36. PETER: Oh, have the fixtures and fittings in my small room also been removed?

  37. WIFE: Didn't you ask me to remove the bed? It takes up too much space.

  38. PETER (V.O.): I can understand that as my wife wants a consistent style.

  39. INT. TOM LEE MUSIC - 15:30 (Yesterday)

  40. Keyboard section. Peter tries out a Yamaha Arius.

  41. PETER (V.O.): Apart from its slim, modern design, it offers a great touch and sound.

  42. Pausing.

  43. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It should make a great substitute for the vacant bed space.

  44. EXT. RIVERSIDE PARK - EVENING (Yesterday)

  45. Peter and his wife chat while walking Kaji.

  46. PETER: What will the design of my room look like?

  47. WIFE: In the former bed space, a custom desk is being crafted.

  48. PETER: What about the remaining space?

  49. WIFE: In addition to wardrobes, I'll also include a Styler there.

  50. PETER: Styler? A printer?

  51. WIFE: It's a Steam Closet Care System.

  52. Peter is at a lost for words.

  53. RETURN TO PRESENT

  54. Act 3

  55. INT. BEDROOM - 22:00

  56.

  57. Peter adds an AI drawing titled "Rooms of Our Own..." to a draft on his laptop.

  58. PETER (V.O.): Rooms of our own aren't luxury; they're tangible expression of unapologetic minds.

  59. Thinking.

  60. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Without space, talent suffocates, like a cucumber choking the roses.

  61. Reflecting.

  62. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Intellectual freedom hinges on material resources. I'll have a study/studio on each floor of my NT house.
