Act 1
INT. BEDROOM - 05:55
A pre-dawn sky outside. PETER wakes and checks a bedside clock.
PETER (V.O.): Have I got enough sleep? Is my biological clock in sync?
Grabbing one of his mobiles, Peter scrolls Facebook.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Not many updates on the Israel-Iran armed conflict.
Yawning, Peter nestles back into pillows.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I hope I can get another round of sleep.
Peter drifts to sleep. At 10am, Peter's wife's alarm clock rings, rousing him once more.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Four more hours.
Stretching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Today is Saturday, and with the maid on leave, breakfast isn't being served. So Kaji has no reason to wake me up early.
Act 2
INT. MCDONALDS - 10:45
At the takeaway shelf, Peter checks the order no. on his mobile and collects a bag of breakfast sets along with two drinks.
PETER (V.O.): My wife placed the order, and I'm here to pick it up and take them home.
INT. DINING ROOM - 11:00
Peter unpacks the breakfast. His WIFE hands him the Chocolate.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): After breakfast, we'll get our sweetheart to her check-up.
Peter sneaks some fish burger to Kaji beneath the table.
INT. VET CLINIC - 12:30
The VET examines Kaji's left leg as Peter and his wife watch.
VET: Healing beautifully. I don't need to see her again.
PETER & WIFE: Thank you Doc!
EXT. AIRSIDE SHOPPING CENTRE - 14:00
Pet-friendly garden. Peter and his wife take turns to walking Kaji.
PETER: Our sweetheart has no trouble relieving herself here.
WIFE: She's been out for hours.
PETER: I'm so happy that the vet mentioned that she's not fat.
WIFE: She's at her maximum healthy weight.
EXT. ESTATE PARK - 15: 30
Peter gently places DAGOU, the family pet turtle, onto the grass from a turtle container.
PETER (V.O.): Stretch your legs.
Slowly, Dagou climbs the edge of the flower bed wall and then tumbles backwards.
PETER (V.O.): I know he can help himself.
Soon, Dagou flips itself back onto its feet, ready to continue exploring.
INT. BEDROOM - 16:30
CD plays "A Lovers' Concerto". Charging cables entangle like a spider web.
PETER: I have five mobiles, one iPad, two iPad Minis and many sets of Sony Extrabass Bluetooth speakers to charge.
Peter rearranges the charging cables and adjusts the placement of the Bluetooth speakers.
INT. LIVING ROOM - 18:15
After completing his Duolingo streaks, Peter turns to the piano.
PETER (V.O.): I haven't played jazz in a while.
His fingers hesitate over the keys.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I think I'd approach playing the piano like I do with my Duolingo streaks.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I haven't played guitar since my last live performance in March.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I haven't played the flute since travel restrictions were lifted.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 22:15
Peter adds an AI drawing titled "Saturday's Slow Rewards..." to a draft on his laptop.
PETER (V.O.): Saturday takes its time. It unfolds like a flower, revealilng rewards that the hurried world often overlooks.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The true luxury of Saturday isn't sleeping in; it's the freedom to move at the pace of a turtle.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A slow Saturday is a love letter penned in dog and turtle walks, and the mindful rearrangement of charging cables. Its rewards are measured in the heartbeat, not hours.
