  1. Act 1

  2. INT. LIVING ROOM - 12:00

  3. PETER sits on a sofa. He holds his smartphone at arm's length, examining.

  4. PETER (V.O.): Where's the song I wrote to celebrate Valentine's Day?

  5. On YouTube, Peter finds his song: 多到離譜 (Love Overflowing).

  6. Peter smiles. He taps "Post" on FB screen.

  7. EXT. RIVERSIDE PARK - 14:45

  8. Peter and his WIFE are walking the dog.

  9. PETER: We'll go shopping after this. Have you identified an LV scarf you like?

  10. WIFE: No, the choices are limited.

  11. PETER: Since you got your LV scarf back from Lost and Found, Haneda Airport, you may wish to choose something else. It can be any brand or anything you want - my Valentine's gift to you.

  12. His wife immediately starts browsing the web on her phone.

  13.

  14. Act 2

  15. INT. COFFEE ACADEMICS, HARBOUR CENTRE - 16:45

  16. Peter and his wife sit across from each other at a small table. They each have a cup of coffee and a shared crab cake with toppings.

  17. PETER (V.O.): It's a fantastic substitute. We agreed not to eat out for dinner as we want to savour the Chinese carrot cakes that my wife made yesterday.

  18. INT. MIU MIU - 18:00

  19. They walk inside the store. His wife goes straight to a rack of scarves.

  20. PETER (V.O.): A gift given with love can heal a moment of frustration and become a positive memory.

  21. FLASHBACK

  22. EXT. ROUTE 77 BUS, ASAHIGAWA - 14:30 (FEB 7, 2026)

  23. Crowded. His wife, looking distressed, whispers to Peter.

  24. WIFE: My scarf. My light gray one. I think I left it.

  25. PETER: Your LV...

  26. WIFE: Yes...inside the noodle shop... dropped on the floor as I returned the tray.

  27. FLASHBACK UPON FLASHBACK

  28. INT. ANA FESTA, HANEDA AIRPORT, TERMINAL 2 - 11:55 (FEB 7, 2026)

  29. Peter hurries back from Gate 55 to the noodle shop just as his wife finishes her meal.

  30. PETER: Boarding now!

  31. He waits while his wife returns her tray with used utensils to the counter. Together, they dash to the restroom and then join the end of the boarding queue.

  32. END FLASHBACK UPON FLASHBACK

  33. PETER (V.O.) : Had I been with my wife the whole time, without worrying about boarding, I'd have noticed.

  34. PETER: It's uncertain whether the person who found it will take it to the Lost and Found.

  35. His wife sighs. The problem unresolved.

  36. PETER: I'd buy you a new one, in any event.

  37. His wife looks at him, a flicker of irritation in her eyes.

  38. WIFE: It's not about the scarf. It's about that scarf. It's my favourite.

  39. PETER: I know. Think of it as a Valentine's Day present then.

  40. RETURN TO PRESENT

  41. WIFE: But they don't show the one made of wool and mohair.

  42. PETER: Ask the sales representatives if they've it in stock elsewhere.

  43. MONTAGE

  44. A. A SALE RESPRESENTATIVE approaches.

  45. B. Peter looks nervous as they wait for the representative to check the stock.

  46. C. Order confirmed. Peter relaxes.

  47. D. He completes the payment.

  48. E. They leave with receipts in hand.

  49. END MONTAGE

  50. PETER (V.O.): Reliability and follow-through are deeply romantic and build trust over time.

  51. Act 3

  52. EXT. PETER'S CAR - 20:15

  53.

  54. His wife drives. Peter is in the passenger seat. They're pulling out of the Harbour City's parking structure. Peter's gaze is drawn upward. A highrise tower ahead has its lights programmed for the occasion. It simply reads: Valentine.

  55. PETER (V.O.): The light on the facade doesn't illuminate the tower. It illuminates the observer, revealing a heart full enough to notice.

  56.  Peter captures an image of it.

  57. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A facade can look nice, but it's just a wall. It's the light inside - a shared meal, a promise kept, a gift given - that shows love is present.

  58. Pausing.

  59. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The light on the facade isn't a message from the city. It's a confirmation. A blinking, electric "yes" to the quiet truth I've felt all day.

  60. The car merges into the evening traffic and drives away.

  61. The END

  62. FADE OUT
