  4. INT. LIVING ROOM - 20:00

  5. Sitting on a sofa, PETER taps his Duolingo app. A cheerful owl device greets him.

  6. PETER (V.O.): Some battles are loud. Mine are fought with a finger on a phone screen.

  7. Peter begins to practise Spanish.

  8. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They think age means slowing down. They don't know about streaks.

  9. Cheerful dings of correct answer sound.

  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): On average, it takes me a few minutes to maintain a streak in one language.

  11. More cheering dings.

  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): However, I'm learning seven languages daily.

  13. Pausing.

  14. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's uncommon for me to maintain my streaks late in the day.

  21. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The airconditioning isn't working.

  22. Peter lowers the windows.

  28. PETER (V.O.): Whenever I finish my work here, I love to swim at Butterfly Beach.

  29. Recalling.

  30. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I spent countless hours there as a boy.

  31. Peter touches his bandaged forehead.

  32. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): However, this time I've promised my family I won't swim until August.

  33. EXT/INT. PETER'S NT HOME - 13: 30

  34. A refreshing exterior, but it's messy inside.

  35. PETER (V.O.): Little by little, I believe I can make the interior reasonably organized.

  36. Having changed to casual wear, Peter heads up to the 2/F veranda and uses a floor cleaning solution mixed with water to clean the surface.

  37. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I haven't done this in years.

  38. Peter is sweating all over.

  39. INT. ELDERLY HOME - 16:30

  40. Common room. Peter approaches his MUM (93) in a wheelchair.

  58. Peter adds an AI drawing titled "The Streak Must Go On..." to a draft on his laptop.

  59. PETER (V.O.): It's not just the owl. It's showing up. For myself.

  60. Thinking.

  61. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The car broke. The heat broke me. But the streak? That's mine to keep.

  62. Reflecting.

  63. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Castle Peak to Fat Boy's garage...the only cool air I feel now is relief.

  64. FADE OUT

  65. END
