  2. Act 1

  3. EXT. ROADS TO AIRPORT - 11:45

  4. In a blue MB, PETER is driving his elder DAUGHTER and her BOYFRIEND.

  5. PETER (V.O.): My wife and I couldn't wait to visit them in Seoul last month.

  6. Pausing.

  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Our elder daughter seized the term-break opportunity in Feb to return home for the first time in over three years.

  8. We hear conversations in Japanese.

  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In Autumn 2019, she went to Fukuoka to learn Japanese alone.

  10. Peter takes a look of the rear mirror.

  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Their hearts brought them together initially there and then in Seoul.

  12. We continue to hear exchanges.

  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I like the end of missing someone.

  14. Act 2


  16. As he enters the restricted area, the boyfriend waves goodbye to Peter and his elder daughter several times.

  17. PETER (V.O.): He has to go back to work after taking a Friday and a Monday off.

  18. DAUGHTER: My Korean language classmate from Hokkaido has texted me that she boarded the flight.

  19. PETER: What's her name?

  20. DAUGHTER: Honoka.

  21. PETER (V.O.): My elder daughter is smart. Honoka is taking the same flight that flew her and her boyfriend in last Friday.

  22. Pausing.

  23. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Her boyfriend will board the same flight back to Seoul.

  24. PETER: We should be able to pick her up at the arrival hall around 13:45. Let's eat something while we wait.

  25. DAUGHTER: Some restaurants in Terminal 1 look good.

  26. PETER: As we've time, perhaps we should go to Terminal 2 to explore the options first.

  27. DAUGHTER: How come I can't see any Terminal 2 signages?

  28. PETER: Don't worry. I know the way. I flew flights departing from Terminal 2.

  29. Later, they arrive at a blocked junction.

  30. ALL: Oh, Terminal 2 is closed. No wonder! But Terminal 3 is being constructed!

  31. They return to Terminal 1.


  33. Peter and his elder daughter order Ramen.

  34. DAUGHTER: I haven't had ramen for a long time.

  35. PETER (V.O.): Oh, I've forgotten she isn't working in Tokyo anymore.

  36. INT. WAITING AREA - 13:25

  37. Peter and his elder daughter sit near an electronic art.

  38. PETER (V.O.): It's good to see the hustle and bustle of the Airport again.

  39. Peter watches people heading here and there.

  40. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Apart from users, there're service providers.

  41. Pausing.

  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Today, we're playing host again. Honoka wants to see Kaji.

  43. Pausing.

  44. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Honoka wanted to raise a Shiba Inu in Hokkaido but circumstances weren't permitting.

  45. Pausing.

  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Kaji was primarily our elder daughter's pet. I never say no to my daughters.

  47. DAUGHTER: Honoka is now at the baggage reclaim area.

  48. PETER: Let's go to the exit point to greet her. How to say "Welcome to Hong Kong" in Japanese?

  49. DAUGHTER: Honkon e yokoso...

  50. PETER: Honkon e...

  51. Act 3

  52. EXT. ROADS FROM AIRPORT - 13: 45

  53. Peter is driving her elder daughter and Honoka.

  54. PETER (V.O.): Since last Friday, my family have been very busy playing host to guests visiting Hong Kong.

  55. Pausing.

  56. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're so glad that they'd visit us. May all our guests leave as dearer and closer ones.

  57. Pausing.

  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We look forward to receiving more particularly in Winter this year.

  59. Smiling.
