  6. PETER (V.O.): My wife told me that the contractor will take possession of the premises tomorrow at 9.am.

  7. Shredding.

  8. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Originally, the contractor was scheduled to start renovation work days ago - immediately upon our return from Hokkaido.

  9. Shredding.

  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's why we made every effort to declutter before our trip. I've adhered to the one - year rule and decluttered a lot.

  11. Shredding.

  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): However, there're big items I want to keep, with the most significant being the old Clavinova.

  13. The scraps fill a garbage bag.

  14. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I was thrilled that we moved the Clavinova to our NT home yesterday afternoon.

  15. Act 2

  16.

  17. FLASHBACK

  18. INT. STUDIO - 14:00 (May 5, 2025)

  19. Peter's WIFE notices the Clavinova is still untouched. She talks to Peter.

  20. WIFE: We're flying out tomorrow, so today is the last day to declutter your studio.

  21. Pausing.

  22. WIFE (Cont'd): If you want to move the Clavinova to your NT home, you'd hire a service provider without delay.

  23. PETER: The Clavinova is detachable...

  24. FLASHBACK UPON FLASHBACK

  25. INT. TOM LEE MUSIC - NIGHT (Winter,1987)

  26. Peter (33) and SHARON (32) have their sights set on the innovative Clavinova.

  27. They press the keys.

  28. PETER: The feel of the keys is similar to that of a traditional piano.

  29. Sharon nods.

  30. PETER (Cont'd): As a digital instrument, the Clavinova won't go out of tune and is relatively portable.

  31. INT. PETER'S HK HOME - NIGHT (A week later)

  32. Avande garde. Sharon is playing the Clavinova, while Peter plays electric bass and sings the song "Big Date in Winter".

  33. EXT. ESTATE ROAD - NIGHT (1991)

  34. Peter and Sharon move the detached parts of the Clarvinova into a brand new Space Wagon.

  35. INT. PETER'S KOWLOON HOME - NIGHT (1991)

  36. Brand new. Peter reattaches the detached parts of the Clavinova.

  37. END FLASHBACK UPON FLASHBACK

  38. PETER (Cont'd): I think we can move it to our NT home by ourselves with your help.

  39. WIFE: Is that right?

  40. PETER: There're just a couple of screws to loosen. I've done it before, but it's still heavy.

  41. WIFE: Okay.

  42. PETER: Since we're flying out tomorrow, we can move the Clavinova to our Previa and leave it there. We'll go to NT after we get back to Hong Kong.

  43. WIFE: Okay, there's no hurry then. Let's do that tonight.

  44. EXT. PARKING BAY - 23:00

  45. Peter and his wife move the detached parts of the Clarvinova into a 2000 Previa.

  46. PETER (V.O.): The difference is that it's quite exhausting to me now.

  47. EXT. PETER'S NT HOME - 17:00 (YESTERDAY)

  48. Cluttered. Peter's wife handles most of the reassembling of the Clavinova.

  49. PETER (V.O.): When it comes to tasks like this, my wife excels far more than I do.

  50. Watching his wife using two screwdrivers at the same time.

  51. WIFE: Oh, some parts are torn. The Clavinova is too old. This will be its final move.

  52. Peter nods in agreement.

  53. RETURN TO PRESENT

  54. Act 3

  55.

  56. INT. STUDY - 21:30

  57.

  58. Peter inserts an AI drawing titled: "What I Keep..." to a draft on his laptop.

  59. PETER (V.O): Decluttering is easy. It's the "why" behind every kept thing that breaks me.

  60. Thinking.

  61. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I don't keep things because they're valuable. I keep them because they're silent witnesses to the life I've lived.

  62. Reflecting.

  63. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): What I hold on to isn't clutter. It's the evidence that I was loved, and that I loved back.
