  5. Sitting up in bed with his sleeping WIFE beside him, PETER scrolls slowly through his Facebook feed. On screen, we see the black-and-white photos of Dr Sun Yat-sen and a beautiful young woman.


  6. PETER (V.O.): It's a historical article about Sun's romance at the turn of the 20th C in Yokohama.


  7. Reading.


  8. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The beautiful young woman was Kaoru Otsuki. She first met Sun in Yokohama's China town in 1898.


  9. Reading.


  10. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They married in Yokohama in 1905.


  11. Reading.


  12. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But Sun left for China before Kaoru gave birth to their daughter in 1906.

  14. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And he never returned to see his daughter...

  16. FLASHBACK


  17. INT. DORMY INN, WAKKANAI - 10: 30 (21 Sept, 2025)


  18. Japanese style room. Peter and his WIFE are packing their bags.


  19. WIFE: We'll be in Tokyo for three nights. What places do you want to explore?


  20. PETER: How about visiting Yokohama from Tokyo? It's not far.


  21. WIFE: Nothing there for me.


  22. PETER: How can you be sure? You've never been there.


  23. INT. DORMY INN, AKIHABARA - 22:30 (22 Sept, 2025)


  24. Restuarant Otago. Peter and his wife are enjoying bowls of ramen paired with refreshing soft drinks.


  25. WIFE: Tomorrow, we'll make a day trip to Yokohama.


  26. Peter looks shocked.

  28. WIFE (Cont'd): We'll try to enjoy a crab lunch at our favourite chain restaurant.


  29. INT. KANI DORAKU, YOKOHAMA - 13:00 (23 Sept, 2025)


  30. Stylish and elegant. Peter and his wife are seated. They look happy.


  31. PETER: For the chain's restaurants in Osaka and Tokyo, walking in isn't an option.


  32. Soon, they're savouring the lunch sets.


  33. EXT. STREETS, CHINA TOWN, YOKOHAMA - 15:30 (23 Sept, 2025)


  34. As they stroll, they notice the menu of a hotel restuarant displayed outside.


  35. PETER: It offers crab and wagu sets... Shall we have dinner here?


  36. WIFE: It's a delightful combination! But I want to eat in China Town...


  37. Pausing.


  38. WIFE (Cont'd): We can come here for dinner before flying back to Hong Kong, since we've already postponed our return date.


  39. PETER: You mean after our planned driving tour to Hakone?


  40. WIFE: Yes...we should be able to return our rental car that night by 10pm in Haneda.


  41. MONTAGE OF SAVOURING YOKOHAMA CRAB (25 Sept, 2025)


  42. A. Roynet Hotel - 19:50. A friendly MANAGER directs them on where to to park the car.


  43. B. Crab & Wagu restaurant - 20:15. The dinner sets are being served in abundance.


  44. C. Room - 21:05. After quickly finishing his dessert, Peter pays the bill in cash.


  45. D. Expressway from Yokohama to Haneda - 21:15. They take the fast lane and arrive at the car rental at 22:00.


  46. END MONTAGE


  47. INT. LIVING ROOM - LAST NIGHT


  48. His wife is on the sofa with a laptop.


  49. WIFE: Do you have the crab dinner receipt from that Yokohama trip? The insurance company needs it for the flight cancellation claim.


  50. PETER: It was a hectic night. Where did I put the receipt?


  51. Peter starts his search for the receipt.


  52. RETURN TO PRESENT


  53. Act 3


  54. INT. BEDROOM#1 - 21 :30


  55. Peter uploads an image, depicting the crab trade dress of a restaurant in Yokohama to a draft on his laptop.


  56. PETER (V.O.): Yokohama taught us that the most beautiful destinations are often the ones we never put on our itinerary.


  57. Thinking.


  58. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There're two types of romance in Yokohama: the kind written in history books, and the kind written on a dinner receipt. Ours was no less profound.

  61. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Love isn't just in the grand gestures; it's found in the hectic dash back to the rental car, our stomachs full of crab, sharing silent laughter, knowing we'll make it together.
