Bay 2 Ocean

Geographical terms like "Valley" or "Bay" have special connotations in the tech world. Months ago, when I was visiting a business incubator at "Bay", I suggested a "From Bay to Ocean" slogan to heighten the sense of start-ups there. A director sharing my value politely sought my endorsement to deploy it.

Since June 2016, I have been providing consultancy advice to a prestigious non-profit institution on intellectual property and governance matters. Both the workload and the sense of achievement were not light. I did not have to worry if my "golden era" would be unfulfilled.

In a regular meeting on June 21, 2017 with high-caliber personnel of the institution, I shared as usual my perspectives. I focused on what was good in achieving goals and what was right in compliance and governance. The reflexive thinking, argument validation and knowledge enhancement by all raised the level of explanation.

After the meeting, the director I engaged before showed me a nice booklet. I was so pleased to see the slogan I suggested earlier printed on its opening pages. If something good or right is identified and recognized, we had better be entrepreneurial, deploy it and capitalize timely!
