Think Big & Act Bold

Today, I had the urge to create incidents. Having thought big, I boldly offered a grand but win-win business proposal to my potential Asian collaborator. I also chose today as the day to launch my "Fade In" as a practising Barrister in Hong Kong.

I was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 1985. I did not publicize it. Later, when a friend and a relative knew that I was working in the Legal Department and in the courts, their queries were: "A law clerk?" and "A lay prosecutor?"

As Assistant Crown Counsel, I did mostly criminal prosecutions; as Crown Counsel, civil litigation and judicial review of administrative actions; and as Senior Crown Counsel, law reform. Between l992 - 2014, I designed, built, maintained and sustained Hong Kong's intellectual property system at the Directorate level. Having done my "Garden Leave", I now wish to try something that might be exciting and delightful.

Immediately after launching my "Fade In" by sending my name card via WhatsApp to my friendly circles this late afternoon, I got overwhelming response. Friends' spiritual support aside, I got a good sense as to how I can adapt to the change, create and deliver more professional and business value. What a good day to think big and act bold to create incidents!
