Time In A Bottle

From the Latin word "sicut", [sic] means "just as" to show an apparent mistake. A lawyer firm dated the month of a recent letter just as "June"; and so in response, a [sic] was added after it. It could be a typo, or time simply flew when one was busy or happy!

For many years with the government, I had to figure out not just the exact month, but the seasons. Since retirement, I have enjoyed the natural beauty of changing seasons here and there. When I'm 64 and since June, I have become busy again and have to re-adapt to the change.

As time is not on my side, I have been not just talking the talk but walking the walk. For big projects, I hope to continue to create public value so that everyone may be better off. For small matters, I tried to help the needy to be less worse off, especially those who got involved with the law.

Having somewhat accomplished my tasks today, I squeezed a little time to write this blog. While I am happy that I am still needed and can perform to the required standard, I have my concern. Looking at my mirror image, I could not help but ponder: "If only I could keep time in a bottle..."
