FADE IN:
INT. SLEEPING ROOM - DAY
Seeing PETER lying in bed, KAJI looks anxious.
KAJI (V.O.)
Come on Peter! It's time to
have a pre-meeting meeting.
Waking up, Peter speaks to the maid's room.
PETER
Please prepare breakfast.
KAJI (V.O.)
Good. I like the suggested
agenda.
FLASHBACK
INT. SLEEPING ROOM - NIGHT
Dressed up, Peter sneaks out with a backpack.
KAJI (V.O.)
Where is he going? It's in the
middle of the night.
KAJI (V.O) (Cont'd)
Peter has disappeared for
a few days. We haven't
had breakfast meetings
for many days.
END FLASHBACK
As the maid puts food on the table, Peter takes his seat.
KAJI (V.O.)
I prefer a little less
conversation, but a little
more actions, please.
Peter throws food in the air as Kaji jumps to hunt them.
A beat.
PETER
Finished.
KAJI (V.O.)
Finished? Your debriefing
is short. Let's have a full
breakfast meeting later.
A beat.
We hear the pack leader speaking to the maid: Please go and buy breakfast for us.
Later, the MAID puts food on the table.
KAJI (V.O.)
My usual role is to chair
the breakfast meeting.
KAJI jumps onto the chairperson seat, as the pack leader and Peter take theirs.
KAJI (V.O.)
Food is the main agenda
again. I'd maintain order.
I'd ensure fairness and
equality.
Looking at Kaji, Peter speaks to the pack leader.
PETER
How about some pancakes?
PACK LEADER
No!
KAJI (V.O.)
I won't intervene. Let
them settle their difference
first.
PETER
(To pack leader)
How about some eggs?
KAJI (V.O.)
That's a good suggestion.
So be it.
The pack leader begins to present some egg pieces to Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)
Action is more important
than conversation...
Kaji consumes the egg piece quickly.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Let's go to the next
food agenda item....
As the pack leader continues to present egg pieces to Kaji. the food on the table becomes less and less.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
I can see we've transacted
nearly all the agenda items.
Any other business?
Pack Leader/ Peter
No more.
KAJI (V.O.)
OK then. The meeting is
adjourned.
All leave the table. Kaji joins Peter on a sofa, kissing his lips, nose and eye lids.
KAJI (V.O.)
Well done! Follow the
food should always be
our meeting agenda. I
reward your good
performance with action!
Kaji then occupies her sofa spot.
KAJI (V.O.)
I chaired the meeting pretty
well. I feel proud!
FADE OUT.
