EXT. PET GARDEN - NIGHT
Empty. Shadows. Walking under the dim light without a leash, KAJI looks back, as the PACK LEADER and PETER look on from a distance.
KAJI (V.O.)
I'd like to go anywhere
I want. Having made
my decision to go in
a certain direction, I'd
look back, at least
once in a while.
Pausing.
PACK LEADER
Not just to see how
far I've moved on, I'd
like to check if the
decision I made earlier
is a good one or not.
FLASHBACK
EXT. PET GARDEN - DAY
When Kaji arrives, her FRIENDS are already there. They greet Kaji and want to play with her. Kaji is not persuaded.
KAJI (V.O.)
They walk in and walk
out in my days out. I
don't want to become
their follower. I've my
own identity.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Furthermore, although
I've no intention to hurt
any one of them, they're
capable of harming me.
I don't want to regret
only after the fact.
Ignoring their MASTERS, Kaji's friends argue with each other and run here and there. Kaji looks on.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
I don't like the gang
lifestyle. All the recognition
and fame are short-lived.
I'm not somebody who
can be manipulated.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Now, it's night time and
nobody is around. I've to
look back to see if I get
the support of the pack
leader and Peter.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
If I can't turn my head,
I've no choice. Since
I can, and in any directions,
it's my freedom to look
back. I shouldn't be a
slave of myself in never
looking back.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
In which direction should
I go in fact is situational.
What is important is that
I wouldn't forgive myself
if I wantonly allow myself
to get lost!

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Furthermore, I'm not that
comfortable with the shadowy
way forward.
Kaji sees Peter taking a photo of her.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)
Okay, I 'm contented now
as Peter's around. He
doesn't show any objection
on my moving forward. I trust
him, as he is old and wise!
Kaji moves forward.
