Kaji: Keeps Me Warm

FADE IN.

INT. SLEEPING ROOM - NIGHT

KAJI is watching PETER preparing the bed by spreading one blanket over another.

She then jumps up to bed and selects her sleeping spot.

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

KAJI is resting on a sofa.

KAJI (V.O.)

I can hear winds coming

through the window. It's

cold.

Kaji sees the PACK LEADER, Peter and the MAID coming in wearing thick clothes.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)

They don't have any

fur. Unlike me, they

aren't for all seasons.

But like humans, I'd

feel cold too.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd)

But would they know?

Without any indication, the maid helps Kaji putting on a white coat.

KAJI(V.O.) (Cont'd)

That's great. While I

Iove the colour of my

fur, I don't mind colouring

my body. More importantly,

the white coat keeps

me warm.

Peter comes close to Kaji.

PETER

Wearing her white coat,

she looks fatter.

Still cute, though.

The pack leader and the maid have their eyes on Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

I'm feeling comfortable

and want to sleep.

Peter makes some sounds.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

What's the matter with

you?

While Kaji turns her head to look at him, Peter takes a photo of her.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

Don't know why you're

so fond of taking photos

of me.

PETER

It looks that she feels

good with her coat.

Peter touches Kaji.

KAJI (V.O.)

I'm a living thing. I

do have my fur but

I'm not completely

weatherproof.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

If you find you need to

put on a coat, you'd

know I need one as

well.

Kaji remembers something.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd)

And only when you

feel warm can you go

sleeping. Right?

Kaji looks away and begins to doze off.
