FADE IN.
Act 1
INT. BED ROOM - DAY
PETER wakes up.
PETER (V.O.): I had a dream, doing location filming. I was a director, directing an actress to act.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The actress wasn't unfamiliar to me, but I couldn't remember her name.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now, I can recall her name. She was a colleague of mine in the mid 1980s.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But we haven't been in touch since then. How strange!
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Seeing her is definitely not on my bucket list.
Act 2
INT. STUDY - DAY
Mobile in hand, Peter is checking stock prices.
PETER (V.O.): The other day, a Quoran asks me if people can actually complete his/her bucket list.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A bucket list is a number of experience that a person hopes to accomplish during his/her lifetime.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although I don't have a list, trading stocks is probably one of them. I've already begun experiencing it.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Last week, I bought stocks of just one bank. I thought I had bought the stocks of a bank in Hong Kong. Later, I found out I had actually bought the stocks of the Mainland one.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's an experience nonetheless.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Today, I've bought the stocks of other banks, of a hotel and of a developer. I'm diversifying my investment.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe I've to wait for sometime being having the experience of selling stocks, otherwise I'd suffer losses.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Anyhow, I enjoy the experience, as I can't bear holding onto idle money.
INT. SITTING ROOM - NIGHT
Peter and his WIFE are doing Skype. We see on computer screen windows, their DAUGHTER, her BOYFRIEND and his FATHER (印富煥) and MOTHER (李東洵). All smile.
PETER (to microphone): Annyeong haseyo... I'm Peter...
We hear the daughter interpret Peter's remarks in Japanese and then her boyfriend interpret them into Korean.
PETER (V.O.): The father is suffering from terminal cancer and he'd like to engage us while he still can.
We hear Cantonese-Japanese-Korean and then Korean-Japanese-Cantonese; and repeats.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm very happy to find that the father is still living his dreams.
After a short while, we see on screen the father has to lie down in bed.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There'll be a time when one finds one don't have more time to do the things one has always wanted.
Later, they wave goodbye at the screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We've talked about the meeting for several weeks. The father has been staying in a hospital near Seoul.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was just days ago the father was discharged; and he wanted to return to their home in Busan.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, when life gives one the opportunity to check off a thing on the bucket list, one has to check it.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And this time, I feel that we all have uplifted and transformed ourselves in a caring and loving way.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, we all have to face any adversity with positive attitude and smile.
Act 3
INT. BED ROOM - NIGHT
Peter is in bed.
PETER (V.O.): After our Skype meeting, my wife and I and our pet had a walk at the promenade nearby.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The moon is particularly full on the eve of the Mid-Autumn festival.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Those dear but not close to me are watching the same moon under the same sky.
Pausing.
'PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's comforting, as we are not dreaming it, but are living it.
FADE OUT.
