PETER (V.O.): Today is June 27, a special date.
On YouTube, Peter searches "Happy Birthday 2022" in his channel.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Twenty-two years ago, my wife gave birth to our younger daughter.
After inserting a link on a Facebook timeline, Peter checks Yahoo!Finance.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the Hong Kong stock market is up again, I should lose less money.
Later, Peter sees a WhatsApp image, depicting a Japanese driving licence.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh! Our elder daughter has just passed her official driving test in Tokyo.
Smiling, Peter types his remarks.
Act 2
EXT. MALL - 10:30
Standing in front of an ATM, Peter is withdrawing cash.
PETER (V.O.): That's my customary gift to my children.
Peter takes the notes from ATM.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For the first time, I've also set some "sell" orders of my stock investment.
INT. RESTAURANT - 13:30
Peter is having salad.
PETER (V.O.): My wife is on leave today. June 27 is also the birthday of our family pet.
Peter is having soup.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To celebrate our pet's 6th birthday, my wife and our younger daughter will have a professional photography session.
Peter is having baked chicken spaghetti.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I've to return to chambers and then to attend a HKUST meeting.
INT. CHAMBERS - 14: 30
Reception. Peter greets the SECRETARIES.
PETER: I'm so pleased that you're all well!
PETER (V.O.): Last week, Covid-19 was in the air.
EXT. CENTRAL - 17:00
Exiting from Hong Kong Club Building, Peter hesitates at the MTR entrance.
PETER (V.O.): It's a sunny day. After the meeting, I feel like taking the ferry and bus home.
Taking a look of the Court of Final Appeal Building, Peter captures a photo of it.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It used to the Legislative Council building.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As Assistant Director of Intellectual Property (Policy & Legislation), I was answerable and responsible to design and build Hong Kong's intellectual property system.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In the mid-1990s, the policy Secretary worried that we might not be able to deliver the system before Hong Kong's rejoining the motherland.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In early 1997, I spent long hours working in the Legislative Council.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): With support from all fronts, the Copyright Ordinance, the Patents Ordinance and the Registered Designs Ordinance all came into force on June 27, 1997.

PETER (V.O.): That my elder daughter can drive in Japan now makes me happy.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That some of the stocks that I've invested are doing well now makes me happy.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That my younger daughter is the most artistic one in the family makes me happy.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My favourite things to do is to make memories with Hong Kong and my family.
