  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It seems that I've two lives - one for myself and the other for my dreams.


  8. Smiling.


  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Have I drift through my years, leading a boring life?


  10. Checking his smartphone, Peter is attracted to an answer request.


  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Why does boredom often lend itself to creativity?


  12. Pausing.


  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If that's right, am I bored all the time?


  14. Act 2


  15. INT. PARK - 13:45


  16. Peter is running.


  17. PETER (V.O.): I prefer dancing to running.


  18. Pausing.


  19. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Dancing is a whole-body workout that's actually stylish.


  20. Pausing.


  21. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): But I've to squeeze the time to buy lunch for my wife.

  22. Pausing.


  23. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Today's March 8, International Women's Day!


  24. Pausing.


  25. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My scheduled court appearance today is adjourned. But my wife has to go back to her office to prepare her appearance later in the week.


  26. Stopping abruptly, Peter takes a snapshot of his shadow.


  27. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's my artistic choice.


  28. Checking the photo.


  29. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The apparent black-and-white image might mirror my soul.


  30. INT. RESTAURANT - 14:10


  31. Waiting for his takeaways, Peter checks his entrepreneurship fund on his smartphone screen.


  32. PETER (V.O.): Seeing all the red numerals for a fortnight now has been boring.


  33. Pausing.


  34. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But if I don't take any calculated risk, I'll never achieve my dream to leave a more tangible legacy.


  35. INT. STUDY - 15:30


  36. Peter is working on a laptop.


  37. PETER (V.O.): Access to my on-line banking has never been easy. I've got confused with the passwords and security details.


  38. INT. BANK - 16:15


  39. Lift lobby. Seeing the blocked lifts, Peter checks a notice.


  40. PETER (V.O.): Oh, it closes at 4:00pm as a pandemic control measure.


  41. Pausing.


  42. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As I can't change the situation, let me change my response to the situation.


  43. INT. SUPERMARKET - 16:30


  44. Peter is shopping aimlessly.


  45. PETER (V.O.): I can at least buy some facemasks.


  46. Peter picks up a box and pays.


  47. INT. STUDY - 17:00


  48. Smartphone in hand, Peter is doing mobile banking.


  49. PETER (V.O.): Oh, I've managed to transact what I wanted to do!


  50. Peter then turns to the Quora App.


  51. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A Quoran asks me about my normal schedule at the age of 10! It wasn't boring! I liked to fly kites to cut others...


  52. Act 3


  53. INT. BEDROOM - 22:00


  54. Peter checks one of his Quora answers. We see: Boredom is an emotion with a purpose. It detaches us from our objectives, allowing new ideas to spring to mind with ease.


  55. PETER (V.O.): That's why boredom often lends itself to creativity.


  56. Pausing.


  57. PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): We've two lives - the life we live and the unlived life within us.


  58. Pausing.


  59. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Boredom motivates us to create so as to be fit to survive.


  60. Pausing.


  61. PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): That's cosmic design.
