Act 1

INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHT

Under the table, KAJI hears sounds at the piano chair.

KAJI (V.O.): That's a audio marker for me to jump onto it.

Observing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But a gang member has already occupied half of the chair.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And the space here is so cramped. How can I do a high jump?

Recalling.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe I've got good techniques.

Act 2

FLASHBACK

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY

Kaji, the PACK LEADER and the GANG are watching TV. They see an image running fast forward to a take-off point towards a bar.

KAJI (V.O.): Yes, speed and power.

Then, they see the image twisting and going over headfirst with the back to the bar.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, flexibility and spatial awareness too.

RETURN TO PRESENT

INT. DINING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Being under the table, I can't use speed here. But I've power.

Flexibly, Kaji jumps up in a nearly upright position onto the chair and lands his legs on it properly.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I know I can do it! I've challenged my limit.

Kaji then stares at the GANG MEMBER.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Won't you reward me with anything?

GANG MEMBER: Look at the way she sits in the chair. Her body is larger than the space she occupies.

All smiles.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is that all I get?

Kaji then sees fruits being put on the table.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Isn't love the fruit of our bondage?

ACT 3

INT. DINING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

GANG MEMBER: Be patient.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm thirsty. The one on the right seems juicy. The one the left seems sweet.

The gang member lets Kaji have a piece of the water melon.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG! I know now what God eats!

Kaji takes a look of the yellow fruit on the far side.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having tasted the red one, I won't bother with other fruits. Our bondage is sweet enough.

Pausing.

KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Flying up to the chair like that is a risk worth taking.

Kaji gets another piece.

FADE OUT.
