  4. PETER is watching TV attentively. We see on screen the Beatles joyfully recording their Let It Be album a studio.


  5. PETER (V.O.): Creating music is fun.


  6. Recalling.


  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I watched the film Let It Be in 1970.


  8. Watching.


  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The footages are never-before-seen.


  10. Pausing.


  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): One of the hard lessons in life is letting it go.


  12. Thinking.


  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whether it is love or hate, gain or loss. Change is never easy.

  15. FLASHBACK


  16. INT. STUDY - 16:00 (EARIER)


  17. Peter takes a call.


  18. PETER (To phone): Is it you?


  19. SOMEONE (From phone): We've known each other since 1982...


  20. PETER (To phone): Whenever I see a court interpreter, I remember you,


  21. SOMEONE (From phone): We've a common friend...He remembers you...


  22. PETER (To phone): Is that right? I couldn't recall... Anyway, it's nice to know.


  23. SOMEONE (From phone): Let's get together.


  24. PETER (To phone): Sure!


  25. PETER (V.O.): We haven't changed.


  26. INT. RESTAURANT - 12:00 (Earlier)


  27. Peter and a down-beat FRIEND are checking the menu.


  28. FRIEND: There's All-Day Breakfast.


  29. PETER: Let's order English breakfast. London was where we first met.


  30. PETER (V.O.): That was in 1986. We're classmates. He asked me to record the lectures for him as he had to work.


  31. Food on the table.


  32. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We reunited when I began private practice.


  33. Chatting.


  34. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): He is litigious. But I'm lenient towards others.


  35. Eating very-English breakfast.


  36. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I suggest him to change, but he becomes more of who he really is.


  37. Chatting.


  38. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm a pensioner and he isn't.

  39. Peter pays the bill.


  40. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This morning, he has learnt to be lenient the hard way.


  41. They part.


  42. INT. CHAMBERS - 09:00 (Earlier)

  43. Reading a white book, Peter jot notes.

  44. PETER (V.O.): Preparation boosts my confidence.


  45. Pausing.


  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I couldn't count the number of hours I've spent on this trivial case.


  47. Peter packs his stuff and leaves.


  48. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I know too well that many things are beyond my control.

  49. RETURN TO PRESENT

  51. INT. STUDY - 19:00


  52. Watching the repeat of the Beatles' news story.


  53. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let It Be was the Beatles' final album. Then, I couldn't believe that band would break up.


  54. Watching.

  55. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Two of the four Beatles are gone. But life goes on.


  56. Pausing.


  57. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): So, if it comes; let it. If it goes; let it. There're just too many things beyond our control.


  58. Touching his white hair.


  59. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm wise enough to let it be.


  60. Pausing.


  61. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Should I resume making my music videos?
