Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Can I live to the age of 116?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Logically, everything is possible. Empirically, I'll have to set a new world record, if I'd live another 50 years.
EXT. ROADS - LATER
PETER drives, listening to the radio. We hear: ...Diego Maradona dies at 60...
PETER (V.O.): Oh, it was a heart attack.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've lived 6 years more than him already.
Act 2
EXT. PUBLIC SPACE - LATE MORNING
People are exercising. Peter sees a young man balancing a football on his head.
INT. PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL - LATER
Having swum laps, Peter rests by the pool wall. A jacuzzi is massaging one of his legs in the water.
PETER (V.O.): Swimming 1000 meters a day should be good for my body and answering Quora requests might be good for my brain. But can I live to 116?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I always think that it's already a privilege that one can live to old age. But if f I died at the age of 60, I'd have missed a lot.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Days ago, a former matriculation classmate shared a class photo shot in 1972.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While it was good to see the young faces of me and others at the age of around 20, it was sad to see the faces of two classmates who died a year later.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): They were struck dead by lightning at Lantau Peak in the summer of 1974. They liked to play football too.

Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I can see a player for England was complaining to the World Cup referee but was ignored.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Maradona's remark that it was the hand of God that did that was widely reported.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I hated the remark, not only that he cheated z goal, he even equated himself as an almighty being.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Allowing the goal unfairly could have impacted on the flow of the game. In the end, Argentina beat England 2:1.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If the controversial goal wasn't allowed, Argentina might not win the match and the World Cup that year.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): But to many and in many contexts, winning is the only thing.
A TV anchor remarks.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Maradona is said to have brought Argentina to the top of the world. A national icon, a model ...
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A god too?
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG!

Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):Maradona should find some comfort in the hand of God now.
INT SITTING ROOM - NIGHT
Phone in hand, Peter is researching.
PETER (V.O): The current life expectancy for Hongkongers is 84.89 years. On average, I've less than 20 years to live.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Logically, for me to be alive in 50 years or even eternally is possible. Empirically, it's highly improbable.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Even so, I'll strive to add years to my life and add life to my years.
FADE OUT.
