FADE IN.
Act 1
EXT. PARK - NIGHT
PETER, in T-shirt and shorts, stops his jogging.
PETER (V.O.): I jog every night now. But here's a sight that suddenly looks special to me.
After taking a photo, Peter jogs again.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I do exercises every day, believing that such should be good for my physical well-being.
INT. LIFT - NIGHT
Peter is alone, going up. Twisting his hands, he bends his arms over his head.
PETER (V.O.): Somebody shares a video clip that such an exercise facilitates blood flow to the brain.
Getting out of the lift to a lobby, Peter twists his hands again and bends his arms sideways.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I waste no time, as it's running short.
Act 2
INT. STUDY - BATH ROOM - NIGHT
Having done 70 push-ups on the floor, Peter goes to the bathroom to take a bath.
PETER (V.O.): I've been taking cold baths at home.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't do cold baths in public facilities anymore. I worry that I might get hypothermia and no one might help.
INT. SLEEPING ROOM - MORNING
Waking up, Peter massages his hands, head, nose, ears, stomach and feet. He rolls his eyes 360 degrees from one direction and then in reverse. Standing up, he stretches his arms over his head and breathes with his diaphragm.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Someone shares another video clip, suggesting such first things upon waking up could add 15 years to life.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whether it's just bare assertion or evidence-based, I don't quite care. I just feel good doing them.
INT. DINING ROOM - LATER
Having breakfast with KAJI, his pet, Peter checks phone notifications.
PETER (V.O.): My story "The Tenant" told in Quora has attracted over 750,000 views and over 1,200 upvotes.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): So what?
Peter scrolls down the phone screen.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Here's a question that no one close or dear to me would ask: How would you want to be remembered?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): This is one upside of Quora. Some answer requests make me think of something that I might not want to think.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'm still alive now. Whether others remember me or not is beyond my control.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As for myself, I've learned a lot from the wisdom of those who are or were senior to me.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'm just one of the instances of the humankind species, literally deriving their origin from star dust.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Whether I'm remembered is neither here nor there - just like The Tenant story that I told in Quora.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I remember the tenant who may not know that I'd remember him. It was my story for over 30 years. If I wasn't asked, I wouldn't tell.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And once it was told as to how human relationship in the context of landlord and tenant in Hong Kong could be, Quorans over the world are surprised.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I believe it was the result of a perfect random mix and match - just like the origin of life.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): How should I entertain the answer request?
Act 3
INT. STUDY - DAY
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.): Let me tell my gut reaction.
Selecting the Park image from his phone, Peter first types: "If at all" on his phone.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Then, how? I had my hand in some Hong Kong legislation. I produced and published my music videos, screenplays and poems about life. These're works that those junior to me or yet-to-be-born might connect with "me".
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Lastly, as to what I want? I wish they'd take me as a role model as to how to struggle and how to adapt to changes, creating and delivering value for the humankind.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Yes, that sums up my life from the cosmic perspective.
Peter completes his answer.
EXT. PARK - NIGHT
Peter jogs past the scene where he stopped to take a photo the night before.
PETER (V.O.): I remember I was here and am here now again. Who cares?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Me is enough.
FADE OUT.
THE END
